A horse in England narrowly avoided drowning in a river earlier this year, all thanks to the quick thinking and coordination of dedicated animal rescuers.
After receiving word from a passerby who spotted the mare up to her chin in water, emergency crews from the local fire department, along with members of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, hurried to the scene to hoist her out in the nick of time.
