Guy Comes Up With An Excellent Plot For A ‘Home Alone’ Sequel, 73K People On Twitter Are Here For It
It would probably be fair to say that millions and millions of people all over the world couldn’t imagine the festive season without 10-year-old Macaulay Culkin on their TV screens preparing traps inside his house to catch the “Wet Bandits.” The movie is a pure Christmas classic, and this year, we’re celebrating its 30th anniversary. Feel old yet?
To commemorate the special occasion, the user @KevinJZak recently went to Twitter to propose a brilliantly crafted plot for Home Alone 3. And yes, he’s aware that there already is a movie under that name. But as you know, the sequel, along with all the other sequels, sadly lack Macaulay Culkin’s involvement…

Only thing I'd change: the Sticky Bandits have the HARDEST time adapting to life on the outside, especially wit the huge leaps forward in technology. Internet whomst? GPS what? In the end they aren't killed (because Kevin's mom is also a geriatric) simply knocked unconscious, and are fairly happy to go back to jail where everything is familiar. "We'll get him next time, Harry!" says Marv cheerfully.
maybe not the orgy part. or just make a clean version. Who knows? But I would DEFINITELY watch that. 100%
the orgy part was the nope. Though I do have to agree... no spouse. or maybe just to book end things. (why would you put anybody but the Sticky Bandits through that torture?)

I prefer the fan-theory that Kevin grew up to be the Saw killer from the SAW Series of movies (Home Alone would be the prequel series to the SAW series).
Why can't I upvote this more than once?! I MUST see this!!!! It NEEDS to happen!! Home Alone has always been my favorite Christmas movie! Adding Dan Levy to the mix would only make Home Alone 3 even more amazing!!

Pull out the unecessary orgy with the polka band (that's a sentence I never thought I'd write). Otherwise it's perfect with maybe a little more backstory like Dan Levy's character is actually the estranged son of one of the bandits.
