Can we just teach boys to respect women? Basically men are taught at a young age they’re weak and can’t control themselves
I once had an argument with a man who was angry that a gay teacher was teaching in his son’s school. His reckoning was that he (the teacher) would be overcome with temptation being surrounded by teenage boys and give into it. I asked him if his daughter had any male teachers. He said yes. So how come he didn’t have the same to reservations against a straight male teacher teaching his daughter as he had about a gay teacher teaching his son as his backward logic worked the same in both scenarios. I had to explain to him that just because you’re gay DOES NOT mean you’re a peadophile.
These people simultaneously think males are too weak-willed to control themselves when they see a shoulder blade and they are the gender rational and responsible enough to be the leaders of the world. Make it make sense.
Maybe instead of forcing teenage girls to cover up we teach teenage boys NOT TO SEXUALIZE THEIR CLASSMATES. This double standard bullshit will never not piss me off.
By that logic, shouldn't males be chaste too? Don't show off any skin. What if it lead upstanding young women into temptation?

How about we stop sexualizing children. Especially little girls. You wouldn't know it but it's against the law to have a dress code that's not equal among all students. I'm a child victim advocate for high schools. I volunteer my time to fighting schools over sexual harassment and sexual assault. You would be surprised how many cases are just plain discrimination against someone being a girl. Double standards are alive and well even in elementary school.

I agree to an extent, however there are exceptions for extremes. For example, I went to an all girls secondary school and a lot of the students really did take the piss. Any adult having inappropriate thoughts about underage girls is obviously horrific don’t get me wrong. But why would a 14 year old want to walk around school in a thong or no underwear, with her skirt so short you can see said small or lack of underwear?! People are going to see that by accident, it’s unavoidable, so why are you doing it knowing people can see unless you want them to? It used to make me uncomfortable seeing that, going up and down the stairs etc. That in itself is inappropriate surely.
Just have a basic dress code of: keep torso and genitalia covered. No advertising drugs or stuff. This applies to both men and women.
