That's exactly the world I want to live in YES! Everybody living their own life without being in danger, judged or hated, no matter their gender, religion or colour.

(I can't speak for everyone) but I'm a conservative and I still believe in the liberal democracies that our society values today. In fact, I'm a big supporter of all feminism, gender rights, equality, freedom, and public services. Being conservative doesn't equal racist thug and I wish more people knew this.
I agree whole-heartedly. Most conservatives, like most Americans in general, are not jackasses. We are straight and we are gay. We are both genders and genderless. We don't force our opinions on others, we go about our day and let others go about theirs. We say "please," and "thank-you," and "excuse me," and we hold the door. Most Americans have never been within a hundred miles of New York or L.A. and don't care if they ever are. It's the extremes that get the publicity on both sides of the aisle, and I wish more people on this site would remind themselves of that when they see ridiculous posts by or about Americans.

Stereotyping all conservatives negatively based on the opinions of a single fool is wrong. If you stereotyped all people the same way, you'd condemn innocent people for something they never did. For example, the US sending everyone of Japanese descent to concentration camps during WWII. Or more recently, hating all of the police force due to the actions of a few corrupted officers. We're once again dividing ourselves, seeking drama and hate, rather than being the bigger person, striving for union. If we don't learn from our past, it will only repeat itself. Besides, you are all criticizing others for not accepting everyone for who they are, while you condemn all of one political group for not believing the same as you. How do you expect to make a change and end hate among different cultural groups if you hate other groups yourself?
