Pls it's my dream

#1

If it’s your dream, then it will take work to achieve. A lot of work. And your success depends on your drive. School plays, local theater, talent competitions are just a few options. There are many resources on the web that can show you some of the skills you will need to develop. While looks matter, they don’t matter like you may think. There are many body shapes and sizes, different faces, and a wide variety people needed in these fields. What does matter is having a clear presentation of the person you are emulating. In short, select characters that you feel your look and personality match well with and develop that so that casting managers can see how you will fit into a given role. Finally, and please take this as gentle advice, asking folks on a forum like this won’t help you get your dreams. If you really want it, you need to find the right forums and use things like YouTube tutorials to get the skills needed before you ever start out on auditions. There is fierce competition in this business. If you aren’t 100% committed and don’t out the work in, you will alway lose out to someone that did. Good luck and I wish you the best in accomplishing your dreams.

The above advice is spot on…I’d just like to add learning everything that goes into making tv shows, movies, etc like production crew work, film/sound crews. Is a good way to “get your foot in the door” so to speak while meeting important people along the way such as agents. Everything I’ve read about casting says agents are the people who get you auditions.
