Let's discuss the ultimate question. Which Harry Potter is better? Movies or books? You can also say both naturally. But please explain why you gave your answer.

I think both are good.
The books because they have much more content and humour.
The movies because they have these wonderfull actors and all.

The book has a lot of sub-plots and mini stories within it, such as the whole S.P.E.W campaign. It also has the time to give rich background to the happenings and events.

The whole 'where is Dobby?' in most of the films.

Also the book doesn't make you cringe at the really awkward Emma Watson & Daniel Ratcliffe dancing in the tent bit.

Prisoner of Azkaban was the best book, IMO

Movies and books are two very different types of things, books are experienced in a whole different way than movies. I like watching movies better, that’s why I liked watching the HP movies better.

I think the books are better because you can picture characters as other people then the actors in the movies. Another reason i like them more is because you are most likely reading the books without anyone whereas if you watch the movies with people there may be the one person who is a HUGE SIMP FOR DRACO! sorry but I don’t like him 😐

Both are really good but the books are better! In the books, details are described that are not taken up in the films. In addition, some relevant factors are missing that you only know if you have read the books.

I agree with hellothere on the books, but I feel like he books are too slow of a pace.

The books because they have more content and you get to picture the characters and places

In general the books are better but there are some aspects of the movies i like better. Like when they left out all the stuff where Hemione was trying to get the elves freed by leaving socks around.

Both because the books are more detailed and the films have James Phelps

Definitely the books, but if people want it more detailed we should have a tv show instead

You mean it's useless to discuss bc it is Harry Potter anyway? That's right! 👍

Books are sooo much better.
They have Peeves for one thing and the movies skipped so many details!! We could also imagine it in our own way with the books. (This is for the movies: Fred and George's haircut for the first two tho) The movies also didn't have all the characters "right" if you know what I mean. The people in the movies were good but the only characters they NAILED are McGonagall, Snape, and Hagrid. The movies were good, but all in all, the books were my favorite.

The books 10000%. The movies leave SO MUCH out. I like them, but they aren't that great. Granted, they are better than some movie adaptations of books. Sry if i offend anyone.
