When I was little, we lived in a rental. It was a little house, and was old. It had three bed rooms and 3 bathrooms. There were cracks on some of the walls, and the rooms were spaced between other rooms. My room was at the back of the house, next to the garage and attic. In my room I had the closet, and a small bathroom(no shower just toilet and sink). I as a kid was being a silly and jumping on my brand new bed when my younger sister walked in. Just as she walked in the bathroom door ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM FLEW WIDE OPEN! Then my fourth of July t-shirt hanging on my closet door k**b spun upside and you could hear something hit the closet door but kept going till the entrance door flung all the way open! I swear! This all happened in a matter of seconds!
It censored k**b? Like the door handle! Also my dad had experiences in my room as well just ask and I will share!
About 10 years ago I worked at Ross Dress for less, for a long time there were little things that just didn't add up...like the time I was cleaning the shoes after close and I would go through each row and pick up shoes and put them back on the shelves...then go back and make sure I didn't miss any, but every time I would find several shoes back on the floor in a couple rows. But the biggest one that freaked everyone out was the time we were closing, I was in the fitting room cleaning up, and my friend was in home goods cleaning...well we suddenly heard something crash to the ground and break...I hollered out to her asking if everything was ok, and she replied back 'Yes, but I can't find what fell...We never did find what broke.
My dogs were barking at 3 am so I took them outside, thinking they needed to go out. I was waiting for them to finish up, when someone (he sounded middle aged and had an australian accent from what i could hear) yelled my deadname. Me, being half asleep and an idiot (not a good combination) yelled back "WHAT?" and got no response. I went inside, checked that my parents and brothers were asleep. they all were. i went upstairs and then it hit me, that it was either a ghost or some creep standing in my yard in the middle of the night who knows my name. I'd prefer the former.
Ive had more experiences with Ma'am (short for middle aged australian man, which is what ive named him) like, he turns on my LED lights in the middle of the night, to different colors than they were set to, including the strip that doesnt work anymore. He slams my bathroom door. Turns on my radio to full volume in the middle of the night to wake me up. He's not mean or anything, i find the experiences funny.
Idk, sounds scary! It might be a shadow man. We have ours, the last time we saw ours was a week and a half ago. He went up the stairs while I was getting water at 2 in the morning.
I used to work in a building that dates from the late 1800's. In the late 1900's the building was a science center with a history walk in the basement. Its a big circle where you walk the timeline of the universe. It was well known the building was haunted. When I worked there the science center had moved out so the basement was the original foundation stone. A lot of times I would be doing a walk through in the basement. As I would round the circle I would catch a glimpse of an old man or little girl. As the story goes the girl fell down an old coal shoot and died. The old man was homeless and died of the cold outside the building.
When I was 10 years old I got an Amazon Alexa light for my birthday. I could change colors if you tapped or asked your Alexa to change the color for you. One day it was around 10:30 at night and I was watching YouTube on my tablet. When all of the sudden the Alexa light turned off. I just guess it unplugged but when I looked to see what happened it was still plugged in. I was a bit creeped out but just continued watching YouTube. Then after about 5 minutes the colors started changing without anyone touching it. It landed on the color red and I was so creeped out I unplugged it and left it in my moms room. It’s not very paranormal but creeped my 10 year old self out.
I experience paranormal quite a bit actually. I am lucky enough to live on a very unique property in Vermont that was part of the Underground Railroad. The property has its original builders buried in the basement of the original house, and since then has belonged only to the current family.
I’ve always been sensitive to spirit, and living here for the past two years has only proven that to be absolutely true.
These spirits like to manipulate lights, and have ruined one microwave, lol.
Twice microwave would turn on by itself and run at a very low level, lower than its normal operating level. Opening or closing the door didn’t stop or change it and the buttons would not work. After the second time it stopped working completely. It was 2 years old.
Lights that turn off only to turn back on when I reach for the bulb to check it. Rarely does the bulb “blow”.
The part of the property that I live in was a slaughter house 80 years ago. There is an old blacksmith shop as well. A lot of history here, and I absolutely love it.
I’ve said this before, but once my door opened and closed by itself. I was not dreaming. Also, the hall outside of it wasn’t there. It was just blinding light. This also happened a few days ago. I’m pretty sure my house is haunted, so yeah. But a few days ago, my basement door opened by itself. This was in the middle of the day. It did close. No you me was there. I froze, and I could feel the temperature change for a second while I was standing there.
