Most "traditional" Eastern European weddings have horrible music and sexist hosts that make the celebration very uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy.
Every wedding ever, pretty much. Don't get me wrong, they can be romantic and stuff, but I've seen/heard of a few that have been pretty s**t
its too inapropreate so im just gonna say it has something to do with "babies are made"
My friend from middle/high school was getting married for the second time at after her boyfriend returned from Afghanistan, etc. Backstory is: he was in the guards and his unit was sent to Afghanistan when their only child together was a month old. She was to be saving his active duty pay to purchase a car and house. Instead, her and her brother used the money to buy heroin and sell/use it. She quickly got busted and spent 18 months in a women’s prison and her dad had custody of the baby who by then was only 6 months old. Her boyfriend got out while she was still in and had to move in with her dad and the baby until she got out. They got married in a local community park with maybe 10 people attending, an old lady with a pink poodle walked right through the wedding without realizing it and let her dog poop on the ‘aisle’. This was too much for the groom who started spouting off all the bad stuff the bride had done while he was overseas and the bride started sobbing. Everyone just kinda wandered off to their cars and left, including the preacher. The marriage lasted less than a year. So surprise there.
