There were a few months where I was obsessed with salt. Ate it every chance I got. I collected salt - and once when my mom got me a special seasoning salt - I put some in a bag and hid it under my pillow. And periodically tasted it. Don't ask. 😂

I still collect rocks. Used to collect bouncy balls, like the little ones you get from those toy vending machines. My whole childhood (until I was 16) I collected little things. Tiny plastic fish. Polly pocket doll. Bracelet charms. Tiny figurines. Tiny animals. Anything about the size of a quarter or smaller. I’d put everything in my pockets and carry it all with me everywhere I went until I’d see my grandmother and then I’d give them to her for safe keeping and start again. My mom and stepdad liked putting everything we owned into storage facilities and then not paying it. So that’s how I kept some stuff and also probably why I did it. I still occasionally buy little things (like some cool bunny figurines I just got) but now I have a home where they can live. No pockets necessary! And surprisingly, I’m not a hoarder. Lol

Lilliput houses, airline teddy bears, buttons, tiny jugs, ainsley wild Tudor china, all of which are not weird, but the weirdest is probably teeth. I have all of my children’s teeth.
I know someone who collected fingernails and toenails for a while -_-
I collect old porcelain dolls. I currently have five all staring at my door lol. It really gives guests the creeps.
