Most of us lead normal lives. However, we all have one experience that’s extremely unusual, or at least out of the ordinary. It can be anything from meeting your doppelgänger to (maybe) spotting an alien. Did this experience change your views? Did you believe in Bigfoot now, even though you didn’t before? Or do you still deny it every day?

Whatever it may be, share your experiences here. I’ll do the first one, and you guys can do the rest.

When I was in second grade, I was playing with my sister on a very nice night. I look out the window on the first floor, and my friend is over there stealing the rock collection my mom made me throw out with the shiny diamond rock she always wanted. She saw me looking at her, made a bunch of faces, laughed, and ran away. I confronted her the next day because I was planning on sneaking that rock back inside my house and she knew how important it was to second grade me. She said she was sleeping, and that a doppelgänger must have done it. Her bedtime is 8:30, and this was at 9:00 or 9:30…

I was trail riding with my kids on a really remote trail in my Jeep. Don't see to many people on this trail as it is deep in the woods and it's a pretty rough trail. It's just after sunset and we are heading back to the trail head. Now on this particular stretch of trail there is a big hill. Once you crest the hill you can see the trail going straight for over a mile before it turns off into the woods. There is no side trails or paths. As I'm crawling up the hill taking my sweet time I see headlights behind me approaching fast. Fast enough I was worried the guy was going to rip off a suspension mount as he's bouncing around. I pull over about half way up the hill to let him pass me. Person is in a red pick up and flies past me. The trail is rough going up the hill but almost washed out on the other side. You have to your time and pick a line to get down decently. Knowing this I pull right out behind him to watch the show. The red truck crests the hill not even a minute before I do. As I crest the hill I see nothing. No tail lights. No dust. Nothing. I stop and get out and there are no tracks at all. Freaked my two girls out bad so we boogied home as fast as we could for the trail conditions.

I was playing guitar at a friend's house, we would set our gear up in the garage behind the house and just make noise you know. Sometimes you come up with something and sometimes you dont. That day I happened to, so I got a pen and paper and kinda doodled it out. When I felt my idea was adequately documented I placed the pen and paper on top of my amplifier and proceeded to show my friend how not to play what I had doodled out and as I was playing this deep bass tone, not a note but a tone emitted from my amp, launching the pen across the room.

My friend, in his way of picking up what Im putting down, had been watching me, then looking at his guitar, then watching me again (cause thats how mediocre guitar players like us learn) anyway he was looking at his guitar when this happened. He turns back to me and asks 'Why did you throw your pen? What was that noise?' To which I replied 'I dont know what that noise was, but it threw the pen. Not me.' He then says, 'Oh it must have been my grandfather then.'

My friend's grandfather had died a few years before. I never actually met the guy.

One night I was outside having a cigarette in my driveway and playing on my phone and as I often do I looked up at the stars to find my favorite constellations. I saw a bright light far away moving across the sky and thought, ‘oh cool, it’s the International Space Station.’ But the it started to speed up… and change direction. Then, in the blink of an eye it got super close and the light became so bright that I had to cover my eyes. Next thing I know I’m on my but sitting down in the driveway still holding a now burnt out cig and when I look at the clock on my phone I realize that I’ve just lost over ten minutes that I simply can’t account for. Was I abducted by aliens?

I know this is irrelevant but smoking isn’t good for you! It causes so many bad diseases, namely CANCER!!! That aside, it really is freaky. Maybe you WERE abducted by aliens…

i was playing my violin in my bedroom when i felt like my strings were about to snap. so i put the violin down and went over to the dresser to get some spare strings, but when i came back to the instrument, the strings were broken, all 4 of them, and the bridge fell over. still have no idea how i managed to predict that. if i was next to it when it snapped it might've hurt me.

Glad you didn't get injured! Fun fact: My former violin teacher once told me that the bow is made out of horse hair, which can cut a door if enough pressure is applied!
