If you don't feel like talking about it that's okay, you don't have to answer the question. It's totally up to you.

i actually never have had a real nightmare. sometimes I will think that the dream is supposed to be a nightmare but instead of getting scared I am just confused. i have had a bunch of dreams with crazy people chasing me and running like a spider but I am more amazed that they can do that without having longer legs or something. i like horror so I guess I'm just not really scared by it anymore lol

I have several
1. I got the feeling that I was being watched in my sleep five years ago. I opened my eyes and the figure of a man with a top hat and cape was staring at me. He had no facial features. I don't know if I dreamt it or that was real
2. A girl and her boyfriend and her boyfriends went into a cave where the boys were dared to go knock on the door of a serial killer. The boys ended up dying and I woke up because it felt like the blood was actually on me
3. Aliens invaded a town and started poisoning people. A girl almost got captured by her friend. I woke up before anything happened to her.
4. a girl got injured and had surgery. Something went wrong and it ended with blood coming out of certain body parts(pretty much any body part that could open). I woke up sick to my stomach.
I only remember nightmares though

I have had many terrifying dreams about my phone breaking (the reason why it’s super scary is because my dad would kill me) and crying sooo much and I’ve woken up crying many times...

think I have already talked about it, but a lot of things I am scared of, and then a staircase down to a basement with a door that triggers the end of the world, I remember what happened every other time I have had the dream, so all I can do is watch as someone opens the door and destroy the world, the staircase is the same as the one in the house I live in now, and the basement has almost an identical layout

I decided to post one myself because I actually had this nightmare a couple years ago and I still have them...

Back in 2018 the blue whale challenge was trending and people kept talking about it I didn't think much of it until 2020 many people say that it came back but this time it was on social media.

They kept saying on the news that people with the scary profile picture and a scary username would try to message you to get you into the challenge

they also said that if you answered them they can track your location in as soon as you answered on or click on the message you will be automatically entered in the game and there's no going back...

If you don't know what the blue whale challenge is then let me tell you.

The blue whale challenge is a 50 day challenge where you have to do harmful things things to yourself in the last challenge you have to commit suicide...

After I saw this creepy phenomenon going around I could not sleep at night but I had no choice but to go to sleep because I was tired...

Next thing you know I wake up at 3 a.m. in the morning to a text message it was the blue whale challenge people trying to message me...

They said "do you want to play a game?" I told them no but they kept persisting...

Five minutes later they said "if you don't play the game we will track your location and kill you and your whole family".

I kept saying no because I didn't want to play and next thing you know I hear knocking on my window I didn't think much of it until it got louder...

Then they broke the glass and they killed my whole family including my pets...

I couldn't tell my parents because I thought they wouldn't believe me...

Ever since then I still have the nightmares and I'm still pretty paralyzed I don't get really any sleep because of the nightmare and I have to have somebody sleep by my side...

I recently told my boyfriend about it she told me it was going to be okay and it was only a dream...

Scary party is it felt so real I couldn't tell the difference between what was real and what's not...

For now on I will have to have my boyfriend sleep with me in order for me to get sleep

One time in third grade, i was just moving in to a new house and i slept in a sleeping bag in a "to-be" room. Of course, like all spooky settings, it was thundering outside with lightning. Anyways, all i could remember was there were the zombie people thingies who kept on following me and my siblings wherever i went.. I remember at the end my sisters became like infected and I think I died or committed suicide after :| i was the only human left.

I woke up in my dream and went downstairs, and there was a ropes course in the backyard that stretched up for miles into the sky. One rope went into my room but I didn't care. Then, that night I went downstairs and I went outside and I saw four people entering my room on a rope. So naturally I ran up to my room, and saw them entering my closet, but my closet opened up into a different room. Instead of being cautious, I wanted to make friends with the fairies. I followed them, and we went sliding down a ice mountain, then we hit a ramp and went flying. I can't remember much, but I do remember they tried to kill me, and I woke up a lot. It doesn't sound that scary, but it was because I would wake up a lot in the dream, and it was hard to tell if I was in dream where people were gonna kill me or if it was happening in real life.

tl;dr: Magic people were trying to kill me and I thought it was real.

I have two that are more recent and several more
1. One night five years ago I got the feeling that I was being watched in my sleep. When I woke up a figure of a person in a top hat and cape was at the end of my bed watching me. I still don't know if I was dreaming or if that actually happened.
2. I posted this dream on another post. This family of three was living in a mansion. The people that owned the house were a mom, dad, and teenage girl. Their house was built on a cave. That day the girls boyfriend and his toddler aged brother were over at her house. They decide to explore the area and the house. They all go into the cave and they see a metal staircase with a metal door at the top. The girl tells the story of a serial killer named Lenny. She dares the boys to go up to the metal door. The boys do. They go back to her room and the younger brother starts crying. She goes to the living room with her parents. A couple hours later she goes back upstairs to her bedroom to find it covered in blood. I only woke up because when she entered the room I started to sweat in my sleep and it felt like the blood in the room.
3. There was this town that got invaded by aliens. The aliens seemed nice at first until they started capturing people and giving them this poison that caused them to go crazy. I woke up when a girl got cornered by one of her friends that had been captured
4. This is the newest one. A person got hurt which resulted in a lot of blood coming out of her body. I woke up sick to my stomach.
I only remember nightmares though.

I was at my mom's office with my mom and she somehow owed a $1000 to the CEO for something. Then she realised that there is only $999, so she takes out a cookie from her handbag and then she puts it on top of the pile. Blackness and then the CEO sends 2 men to shoot and kill us. We were running and I suddenly became slow and they caught me, shot me in the heart and ripped off my head. They threatened to kill my mom too unless she left. So she ran to the car and drove off. I even got a wasted screen in front of me. Then TV static and finally I woke up, sitting up, screaming and sweating in bed.

This is a dream that happens more than one time, if that makes since. I've had it multiple times in my life, and it's a horrifying experience. You know how you close your eyes, and focus on that dark in front of you, and you can see things? I did that in my dream and saw a skeleton's hand, then the picture moved up and I saw a rotted skeleton head. The first time I had it, I was 6.

(this story involves my classmates- names are changed and it is shortened)

Aliens at water Tower

I was a student at a creepy high school set in a water tower, an old well house/reservoir. My role at this alternate high school was Spanish teacher. My school classmates lived in the same building as me, and everyone had different social rankings in wealth.

One day, I was cleaning my classroom, when an alien started to crawl out of the chimney. I panicked and desperately hid under a table. However, the kid behind me wasn't so lucky. The alien ripped him apart and there was blood and organs everywhere.

I ran upstairs when the alien left and found John, one of the rich kids on the highest floor. He screamed at me to leave the premises, but he stopped when he saw the alien. "Follow me!" He whispered. We hid under a giant tarp and waited for the alien to leave.

Finally, the alien left. The school panicked and transferred buildings, but not without a price.

100 children died.

And that's my dream about Aliens at Water Tower.

This one happened a few years ago.

I was sitting in my fourth-grade math class at my desk. a kid comes up to the board to solve an equation and my math teacher spontaneously walks up to the kid and eats their head. A split second later all of my classmates flew into a screaming panic. Then our teacher was chasing us in circles around the classroom. A few moments later we started to try to slow her down with these really thick books. We ran out of the classroom and the rest was a crazy blur.

Most of my classmates survived. I did too.

Is it bad that I laughed at the part where the math teacher just randomly eats his head?

I was in my mom's classroom (She's a middle school orchestra teacher), and we were just sitting around, doing nothing. The phone starts ringing. My mom picks it up, and starts crying. Me and my sisters faced were etched with worry and doubt. What could possibly be so bad? My mom put the phone down, and looked us straight in the eyes. "Your-your father is dead. Overseas" She said, her voice a crack.

Fast forward to about 6 months later.

We're in my moms classroom again. We had found out that my dad had drowned overseas when the boat sank during his trip to Paris for work. I was devastated, and still was. I silently played a game on my hone and asked, "When's dad coming home?" The minute I said it I regretted it, as my mother's eyes clouded with so many emotions it was unreadable. "Sorry," I whispered. "Sometimes I forget." "It's okay honey." She said, and pulled me into a hug.

This was all in the dream. Let me try to explain why this was so frightening.

1. I have a fear of boats and drowing.
2. I had always been worried that my dad would somehow die traveling for work, and it scared me so bad.
3. I also had a fear about anyone close to me dying. Not the best fear, I have to say.

My dad is still very alive today and fine, so I'm not sure why my dream said he died. I'm also not sure why it quoted the line from the Christmas Chronicles (If you've watched the movie its the part where they are baking cookie in the kitchen).

Oh well. I'm glad it was just a dream.

I've always had the same nightmare. It first started when I was around 7 years old. I'm walking down a street that feels extremely familiar and I stop outside this house. I feel some sort of energy from it but I'm confused as to what kind. There's a small gate at the front but it's shrouded but bushes and ivy so I can't really see the house. I try my best to keep walking past this house but something isn't allowing me to continue my journey. The next thing I know I'm stood inside a room within in it. I think it's the livingroom but it's dark, it smells of damp. I don't feel afraid at first. There's a calmness about me until I feel that hand on my shoulder, clamping down, it feels like a block of ice. My body goes rigid. I feel warm breath on the back of my neck and a voice begins talking to me quietly but I suddenly wake up. I always start and finish the dream the exact same way. The same scenario happens until I wake up with a cold sweat, gasping for breath and my shoulder icy cold.

I have many strange, scary, and unsettling dreams. The one that stands out the most was when I was 4 years old (maybe 5 or 6 but no older).

I was at my grandma’s house, playing in the garage. She came out, holding a tray of crinkle-cut fries fresh from the oven. I didn’t want any, and I went off to the backyard. In the middle of the rose garden, I found a burned and blackened human skull. As I looked at the eye sockets, I knew, with certainty, it was my mother’s.

I woke up screaming. My family was camping, and my mom told me to be quiet and go back to sleep. Much later, when I finally told her about the dream, she felt guilty for shushing me.

I couldn’t eat crinkle fries for years, well into my twenties. I still don’t care for them, because I always see that skull and smell smoke.

I remember I had a hard time falling asleep, my shoulder had been in a lot of pain, and after I fell asleep this is what I dreamt (it was short):
I was standing on a cobblestone sidewalk right next to a train track (on the left side) that lead into a tunnel that went into a mountain/hill that had rocks lining the arch of the tunnel. A little boy, about 7 or 8 years old with blonde shaggy hair, was standing in the middle of the tracks. In the background on the right side of the tracks were people but it was blurred. The train, it looked like the one in polar express with the guard rail in front, was coming out of the tunnel. The little boy was looking me dead in the eyes as it was coming out full speed and he got hit. He didn’t just get hit but I saw it in slow motion.
Whats even weirder is my neighbor, also good friend, had the same exact one as me. She was telling me about a dream she had and described the EXACT one I had down to the length and height of the little boys hair.

I got in a car wreck with one of my neighbors and we went to heaven. His skin was pale but mine was normal, which I found odd. I haven’t known him long irl but I was balling my eyes out in the dream. I was in a room with 3 other people, like a living room. And they were saying I had to go, like I had to go back to earth. But he had to stay. I got flustered cause he wasn’t there and they were pressuring me and I yelled “Stop! I have to tell him I love him!” And as I was saying that, he walked in the room. Then the dream ended

My family and I were standing in my parents room. Half the room was gone and fire was everywhere. Outside we could see a large stadium. Half was red and half was blue, Democrats and Republicans. They were at war. We went to the garage. A soldier tried to shoot my sister (for some reason she was a toddler and she is way older than that) so I stood in front of him (for some reason I was a pregnant adult and I am not and have never been either of them). He shot me and I died. I woke up (still in the dream) and I was in a street. I was not walking but floating around. I was holding a baby. I walked around the streets looking for a job. THE DREAM ENDS THERE!

Idk why this was scary but I was scared for a month after that dream. The dream is kinda weird but whatever.
