How old is a kid in grade 1? In the US, a first grader is around 6-7 years old, so understandable
This was a question one of my peers had i our 8th grade science class. We had already talked about geocentric and heliocentric. And at the end of the year we were studying for finals and my teacher was going over heliocentric and geocentric at the time and she asked him “so that means we are geocentric right? Cause the sun and all the planets revolve around us.” Some other kid agreed with her but I was just like ‘miss you are in 8th grade and you don’t know that we revolve around the sun. Also clarification she was not the best student she was one of the students who would vape in the bathroom and never pay attention to anything but the teachers let her get away with it cause she was the rich kid.

I was on register at an "Arts & Crafts" store when a young man trying to impress his lady friend asked me a question. He was obviously smirking thinking he could outsmart me and show how intelligent he was. He asked me if white was a color? Without skipping a beat, I replied "white is all colors, not one color. If you send a beam of white light through a prism it produces a spectrum. If you send a beam of black light through a prism it produces white light." Girlfriend laughed, he turned red. They were accusing me of being a spam chat bot (the kind that sends inappropriate links, they were in the same group chat the bot formed, they messaged me seperately after). They asked my age, I told the truth, they said "No [redacted] way you're (age) and your spelling and grammar is so good. I bet you're the [redacted] bot. You're the reason the world is (crud)." Censoring and paraphrasing, mostly. Anywho, if anyone's looking to insult me, please don't call me a bitch. Everybody calls me that, it's not original. You won't stand out by calling me that. Don't even try.
