It’s quite hard to stay focused on the positive throughout these notoriously lovely times, but sometimes all you need is a Bored Panda post to help!

I made a little progress in my therapy session. Baby steps, but baby steps going in the right direction.

This is admirable. You will look back one day and remember that every change starts with something small. It's a gradual process that makes difference, like the analogy 'no single raindrop believes that it is responsible for the flood'. Small things should not be underestimated.

At the end of a work day, someone came up to me and personally thanked me for all my hard work. It doesn't sound like much, but it really put a smile on my face the whole rest of the day, and made me actually excited to go back in the next day. In a world where people sometimes seem so quick to criticize and demean, sometimes just a short sentence like this really does make all the difference.

I had a two hour delay in school. Two more hours of much needed sleep after I stayed up basically all night playing video games the night before.

It's my aunt's b-day... I miss her a lot! Today I didn't feel sad about her death... Today I started to smile for the first time and actually mean it. Today I cried of joy... Now yes im still sad about her death but I feel more alive today... I have no idea why.

Car broke in the night directly on the highway (autobahn) exit because battery was not charging (fan belt torn). I followed the usual procedure but as the battery was almost discharged I couldn't open the trunk to get warning triangle. Fortunately I had reflective vest under my sit.
I started to panic as I observed my hazard lights going less and less bright.
Then suddenly a guy in a regular private car hold behind me, slaps a huge bright emergency vehicle light on his roof and secures my position.
We exchange few words and while I'm trying to organise tow car he calls the police. He waits then until the police arrives and secures the place.
I was also happy to live in a country where police is actually there to help.

Making it into a diploma course for 3D Animation at the same place that I tried for 20 years ago but had to give up because I had to move from Qld to Vic in Australia. I cannot wait to get started and finally finish the course I wanted to do so long ago :)

For the past few months, I have been grocery shopping for my neighbor so he doesn't have to get out during the pandemic. On Saturday, his son, who is a chef in another city, showed up at my door with a gift basket of gourmet food from his shop to thank me for taking care of his father.
I would have gotten the groceries for George no matter what because that is what neighbors do, but to get a wonderful surprise like that really made my week.

I made the best pot of cocoa I've ever made.
It may not seem that big, but I make hot chocolate twice a week and stick it in the fridge for my lunch and this batch was killer.

In just a couple days I made a wonderful new friend who is a lot like me (down to the pan!) and I found that my bff is genderfluid and going by they/them, which made me smile.

I sat on my couch, wrapped myself in a blanket, drank peppermint tea, and watched the folklore long pond studio session. It was probably the first time in a while that I was genuinely happy, and I felt at peace, and calm, so it was really nice to treat myself like that.

Me and my cousin sneaked out and roamed the city without our parents finding out. It was very fun.
