My husband's favourite cockatiel loves to play "free fall tower" on his hand. Up as fast and high as possible, then down again so fast that the little fellow had to spread his wings. Husband says "Weeee!" and birdy whistles along. Quite normal for a rollercoaster junkie parrot, but still cute af.

My dog air snaps, apparently it is common for German Shepherds but I have never seen any other dog air snap before. For some people that don’t understand it can be quite confronting but it isn’t a vicious thing, it is an attention seeking thing. Unfortunately that behaviour has resulted in some broken teeth but nothing major. Another thing that our dog does is tell us when it’s dinner time, he will paw his bowl so it makes a noise or he will pick it up with his mouth and bring it to me.

That's so cute. My cat likes to chase toys that I throw, but she doesn't bring them back to me.

I once had a cat that was very dog-like. Everyday I would go for a walk around the block and he would follow me. Sometimes people driving by would say "Hey, there's a cat following you!". It was fun. He never ran off. He stayed near me the whole time!

My cat feels the need to guide me through his feeding process in the morning. When I wake up and open my door, he's almost always sitting there. He then goes downstairs, looking at me the whole time to make sure I'm following him, stops by the cabinets to point out where his food is, before trotting over to his bowl where I feed him.

My cat, Hibiki, is a foodie. If you eat on the couch watching TV, he will sit next to you and eeeeeeeever so slowly raise his paw. If you don't catch him before he is in striking mode, that paw will shoot out like lightning and snag something off your plate. He then runs like a flash to hide under my bed where he knows I can't easily reach him, and enjoys the spoils of his victory. Over the years he has claimed the normal cat things like chicken or ham, but also oddball items like tortilla chips and, on one very memorable occasion, an already-eaten 8-inch long corn cob.

Oh - I forgot one. He got into my cappuccino once. I walked into the room and he was sitting there looking completely innocent... with the world's biggest foam mustache on his face.

Our little dog, Henry, is a chihuahua/llasa apso cross and he is cross most days. When he doesn't have the hump we play 'which hand is it in' and he picks, with his paw, which closed hand the treat is in. We think it's pretty cute so I hope you do too.

Ever since a few months ago, my very old dog started to fall asleep a lot more. With her head in mid-air. Yep. Just sleeping with her head in the air, cause that's normal.

My doggo (4.5 years, 75 pound Labrador) thinks she’s a lap dog, so she tries to crawl into people’s laps while they’re on the sofa. She also understands the word “walk,” and gets really excited when we say it (like really, really excited), so we have to find synonyms in regular conversation. She also will fetch anything but the object we threw; one time we were throwing a ball out front and she came back with the neighbor’s newspaper. She also (this is adorable) has a safe space under the table, she thinks nothing can harm her there, so when she’s being chased, during fireworks or a thunderstorm, or when she wants to be left alone she crawls under the table. She also loves eating snow.

My squirrel (that went back to the trees a year ago) used to try to hide nuts in my hair. Then he would pat my hair down and look around like nothing to see here! About 13 years ago I had a different squirrel that would ride in my hoodie to places like Wal-Mart. He would just keep out of my hood and look around. If people noticed they would be completely surprised. Squirrels are awesome.

My cat, Mads, is not really the cuddly type. If you try to hold him or put him on your lap he'll try to get away from you at all cost. But, when it's just me and him at home, whenever he sleeps, he needs to touch me with at least one of his paws. I say at least, because my favorite position to watch movies or browse through the internet is lying flat on my stomach, and he usually keeps all four of his paws on my kidneys then (while lying next to me).

My cat fits the stereotypical definition of a cat. Or a dad. Will never say or show it, but he does indeed love you. Dobby - my cat (duh) - does not like cuddling. But he has to be in the same room as me. If I change rooms, he follows. No physical contact, just needs to be in the vicinity.

Another thing : If I am too engrossed in my phone and do not notice him sitting next to me, He will gently tap me with one paw (like a f*cking HUMAN) and look at me with big cute eyes until I get up and feed him. It's cute when he does it once, a little annoying when he does it every five minutes because the food's no longer centered in his bowl.

My Border Collie Shilo is an attention seeking divo. He hates being left out of any conversations and if he thinks he's being ignored he will go and get some of his throw rings and put them on around his nose and his neck and smile at us, looking from one person to another looking for praise and attention, which, of course he always gets. He sometimes does all this with a squeaky ball in his mouth which he will squeak for extra effect! Then he will sit in front of me and wait for me to take his picture. He will even pose for the camera. If I say to him "pose" he will shuffle his bum, sit up straight and pose and keep the pose until he hears the noise of the camera. Nobody taught him to do this it's just all a part of him. He even poses for the camera when we are out walking. He goes where I want him to go and poses to have his picture taken and will wait patiently until I get the best shot. He would be a pet photographer's dream. He is just the perfect mix of love and fun and I love him with all my heart . He really is my best friend.

My little deer chihuahua "Daisy" will watch TV, whenever there is a dog on she goes wild and barks while standing on her back feet looking up at the TV. Many of the commercials she know just by the sound of the music, she will come out of blankets like flash to bark at the screen. Sometimes it is annoying because you cannot hear the TV over the barking.

My dog does 4 things. One she does is that as soon as you come home from work or school she jumps up (she's pretty big, a golden retriever) and starts licking your face and wagging her tail. I'm sure a lot of dogs do this, but it just makes me feel special!!
Secondly, her naps!! She really likes sleeping on my bed, and sometimes in the middle of the day when she's napping I'll make a noise and she'll wake up. Then she'll stand up on my bed, look around, and plop right back down to go back to sleep!!
Third, she winks sometimes!! She blinks normally, yes, but she does wink!!!
Lastly, how she lays down. Her front two paws cross over one another like a pillow, and she rests her head on those. Her back two paws sprawl out in every direction and she kinda looks like a frog!!!

My GSD Cooper likes to wake me up by standing his front paws on my chest and staring down at me. He is HEAVY! As soon as I stir, he makes happy, excited noises and licks my face.
Basically, I have to battle my dog every morning for the luxury of breathing. Still prefer it to an alarm though.

Another thing about my dog; whenever she comes back from a long walk (she's supposed to be tired?) she runs back and forth. A lot. Mom calls it "Psycho Dog".

Also when Mallie (yeah that's my dog's name) sneezes, almost all of the time she hits her head on the floor.

Mallie has an automatic food dispenser that has scheduled feeding times that she knows, (7:30, 12:30, 6:30) so she just stares at it like, 30 mins before her meal.

Sometimes Mallie doesn't want Mom to be reading so she puts her whole head in front of Mom's book.

Gee I have a dopey dog.

My 9yo Cockapoo Monty will howl, only when he's home alone. I first found out about his secret talent when I got a security camera, and then when I left him home for a minute when I went to the neighbor's house he was howling when I was standing outside the front door.

He also has an obsession with going to bed. He waits for me to say the word, then he escorts me, and lays next to me until I'm almost asleep. I say he is tucking me in.

She has another life while she's sleeping. Her paws move as if she's running; muffled barks and she even bares her teeth. She'll even whimper at times. I think while she's awake with me, she's sleeping with the 'other family' and probably doing the same thing at their end. :o)

My cat Bandit is a real dad's boy. He insists on lying along the back of my husbands chair and kneading the back of his neck or chews his hair (what there is of it) He will happily sleep there all evening with his back feet firmly shoved into Kevins neck and he gets very annoyed if Kevin decides he needs to get up for anything. He just sits there and pouts until his dad comes back and then, when Kevin settles down again, Bandit will whap him round the back of the head before going back to sleep.

Sora, my Siamese, wakes me up in the mornings sometimes. She'll get really loving and they curl up right next to me, before very carefully reaching out a paw and she pats my face. She always has her claws put up so I only get soft pat pat's with the toe beans and furry paw. She'll do this purring meow when my eyes open. I very very lovingly shove her off the bed. She'll be back in a couple of minutes. She has now started doing this when she's hungry and I'm up. She'll pat my shoulder while I'm doing something.

Eli, the chihuahua, has a barking issue. He's a terrorist, but I love him. He know's he's not allowed to bark on the couch so when he does it I give him a look and say 'Excuse me?', he'll start doing this grumbling muttered bark growls and chew me out. Its so funny and so cute. If he starts barking on the ground I'll tell him 'Hop up or shut up', and he'll jump up on the couch and shut up, or do more of his growling chew out mode. Usually this involves him wanting extra treats or I'm paying to much attention to the cat. Chihuahua's are attention hoarders and if you dare love on anything else you hear about it.
