Coconut oil. Leave it in your hair for about an hour before showering and I swear it makes your hair so freaking soft and shiny and I just love it! (Although I'm not gonna lie, washing it out does take some effort.)

So coconut oil seals in the moisture already in your hair so if your hair is feeling dry don’t use coconut oil cause it’ll just seal in the dryness

I usually use lotion on my face in the morning when I get ready, and I mix a little foundation with the lotion.

Good quality lotion. I don't mean expensive froo-froo stuff, but a good, thick quality lotion (Aveeno's my favorite brand). Well moisturized skin doesn't tear or scrape easily, which helps prevent germs from entering the bloodstream.

Aloe Vera. Like fr this stuff is magical. Apply on your bumps and pimples on the face and after a week, it’ll be gone. It’s like a frikin magic trick and it usually works every time

Aloe vera as a hair mask. Apply raw aloe vera on your scalp, massage very gently, and leave it in for half an hour before you wash your hair. It helps healthy hair because the enzymes break down dead skin cells that may clog your hair follicles.

Oil of Olay with UV protection. I slaughter it on before walking Brutus Augustus in the morning, and it protects my face and neck from the sun but leaves my skin feeling soft.

Oh, I have a couple!

1.) If you have frizzy, dry hair or thin/limp hair and you need a boost - wet your hair in the shower/bath, then apply conditioner from your scalp to your hair ends. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes, then shampoo it out. I know this has been a TikTok or whatever trend lately but it's been around for ages, it just hasn't been popular to try until now.

2.) The best time to hydrate your skin, is after a warm bath/shower. NOT HOT. Hot might feel good for muscles, etc. so it has its place, but it also causes the skin to quickly produce sweat/more oil which can lead to worse acne and you can dry out quicker in the winter. So I suggest warm water, then immediately applying 1 of 2 things. Either baby oil, or water based hydrating lotion. As your skin cools and dries, it'll "suck in" the applied moisture. The next day, feel free to use oil/fat based lotions like shea butter, etc.

3.) In the winter, if your feet or hands get really dried out, yes applying lotion through the day can help but you need a DEEP treatment at night. After a nice warm shower/bath, slather on Vaseline or a deep penetrating lotion to your feet and hands. Once the 1st round has been "worked in", put on a second, lighter layer, then put on a pair of comfy socks AND a pair of gloves for your hands with the fingertips cut out. I like those cheap kid gloves. Cut off ONLY the tip of the fingers and wear them to bed, with the socks.

If you have really bad cracks in your skin and it hurts and bleeds, use an oil based antibacterial ointment like Neoporin instead of lotion or Vaseline with gloves, overnight.

4.) Same thing with chapstick, definitely use it through the day but at night, apply it thick. Overnight is your friend.

Sounds silly but...Hemorrhoidcream that has hamamelis in it! If you have bags under your eyes, just take a little bit of cream and tap it gently into your skin. Worked like a charm for me every time ;)
