Not middle school but a few weeks ago I was hanging out with my crush in a big group of people. We were on the beach just chilling, both of us know we like each other but we're trying to figure out where to take it from here and we don't want our nosy friends interfering so no one else knows. Another guy in our group is very flirtatious and decided to try and grab my hand because he thought holding my hand on the beach would be romantic or something idk.
My crush decided to slap his hand away from mine and then pretend nothing happened. Everyone saw it and decided just to stare at me and this guy. I had to laugh it off but gosh dang it those moments of silence were awful.
In middle school I was in the unisex bathroom because it was the closest to me. There was a distant rumor that the lock was broken, but no one I knew took it seriously. So I'm in the bathroom, on the toilet, and I hear someone knock, I shout ill be out in a second, but I start to see the k**b turn. I'm frozen. Guess who opened the door, my crush. We made eye contact, both kinda squealed, he quick closed the door and ran away down the hallway. Very awkward indeeed
I started a new school in 7th grade. I had very few friends and was embarassingly shy. There was a boy I fancied. Mike. His locker was across the hall from mine. I thought about this every day for months, and finally came to the decision to right a letter and shove it in his locker. I didn't think about what I would do after, because it took every ounce of me to drop it in the first place. The day I dropped it in there, I saw him open his locker and read it. Then he showed it to his friends and they all had a good long laugh. I signed the letter. I honestly don't remember what happened the rest of the year, but I can still feel the burning anxiety I felt while watching him read it OUT LOUD to his lame friends. That was 1997.
The day I found out that He found out that I found that he found out that I liked him. I felt like he could see my thoughts. I had like three panic attacks that day.
