I would love to hear some of your ideas so I can try them too! Personally, journaling, drawing, or crocheting is a good way to practice self-care, especially if I'm in a mood or funk I need to get out of.

Its an everyday thing but showering, I love the warm water and just thinking. It just washes away the day and I can think happily instead of worrying about anything.

Try out new stuff/techniques or combine old stuff/techniques.

Atm I'm figuring out macramé (never tried before), and how to combine it with soapstone-carving (very well known, never mastered)
