Friends and family have asked me what I want so many times over the years and I would always tell them a sword. I’d play it off as a joke but always knew I’d be ecstatic to get one. On my first birthday after marrying my wife, she took me to the Scottish games/fair (excellent present on its own), but totally blew me away when we got to the handmade sword booth and she told me to pick one. I knew I married a good one!
The complete set of M*A*S*H series on DVD. Tons of money. Super hard to fine. That and the complete set of Golden Girls!
Our library used book store may have them or any other place like that. I'll take a look.
Honestly just some kind words that they actually mean would be a great gift. I haven't heard anyone tell me something nice and mean it in a long time. My parents try sometimes, but I feel like they're obligated to say it. Also my own space to build Legos where I won't be in the way of other people.
Awww, I'm so sorry about the kind words thing :( Maybe you should consider counseling? I know it will sound forced here as well, but I mean it- I truly do hope that you have a great day and that you can come to have good relationships that will support you no matter what. I really mean it.

A cozy blanket that is dog-hair resistant, so that every time my dog decides he wants to sit on me, I don't have to lint roll the blanket.
