You guys know those spiral “ladder” things on a playground?? You’re supposed to SLIDE down them. I’m literally so stupid and I wasted my childhood not doing so!

MOST people you date are NOT “THE ONE.” That teenage pattern with the tears, the misery, and suffering because I lost my “true love,” the only one in the world who was my “soul mate” was, as I see it now, just so very very sad. To be a teen on the cusp of the future and to make my world so small as to rotate around ANYONE back then was, on my part, looking back, less about “THE ONE” and more about “THE DRAMA.” I wish I hadn’t wasted so much time celebrating my misery. Still embarrasses me.

Don't waste time in a job because it sounds fancy or respectable but you don't like it. Move on and keep exploring.

Also, love is what matters. Give love and receive love. Don’t get in your own way.

Be kind to others but don’t waste time trying to make everyone else happy - because that will make you miserable. Do what makes you happy and you’ll ultimately be a better person to be around.
