So everyone know the fruit of the loom logo, right? Do you remember the cornucopia on the logo behind the fruit? Yeah? Same. But the thing is THERE IS NO CORNUCOPIA. SINCE WHEN???? I distinctly remember a cornucopia on the logo because there 100% was one on there. Even the designer of the logo remembers there being one!! WHERE IS THE CORNUCOPIA??????? I probably sound absolutely insane but it frustrates me so much because I know for a fact I saw one on the logo and a ton of other people do too, so where did it go?
It's actually a category of widely-held false memory, there's not always a 'correct' version. And my favorite is the 'missing' Thunderbird photo, an old (late 19th/early 20th C. or so) photograph of a giant bird or bird-like creature held up against the side of a barn by a bunch of ranch hands, which a lot of people - myself included - swear up and down we saw published in a magazine sometime in the 1960s. I'm among those who are certain it was in Old West Magazine, which was a favorite of my grandfather's, and I remember the bird being condor-like but much larger and with a feathered head. Others thought it was one of the many other Western or adventure magazines popular then, and a few recalled it being something like a pterosaur. Sadly, we're all wrong - exhaustive searches have failed to turn up any evidence such a photo existed. Doesn't stop people from making fakes, of course.

Honestly I always thought it was the Mandala effect not the Mandela effect but i looked it up to be sure and now i'm just dying of irony.
