What is a tradition you are gonna do this New Year's, or something new you haven't done.

It was my parents anniversary so they got drunk af at like 4 so the rest of the night I was dealing with younger brother and sister while my parents who are funny af while drunk are out front talking about embarrassing things I did to our neighbors
Mostly I just chilled with my family, and we went to bed pretty much immediately after midnight
Don’t judge me but at 6:00 I started eating 45 warheads bites every eight minutes so that I would finish it next year. Lol
Got the covid vaccine New Year’s Eve day at noon, then homemade Indian food for dinner, chocolate fondue for dessert and we played a murder mystery kit game.
So normally this would be there one night where I can stay out at a party all night. Hybrid year because of Covid I can’t so my mum made us our own celebration complete with fizzy apple cider, loud music, dancing, games and a movie. She is so creative and wonderful!
Sleep. Sometimes it sounds like an aerial bombing from the city with all of those fireworks.
Context: my city is like inside some kind of bowl, surrounded by mountains. Now imagine me, living in the countryside(the rim of the bowl), trying to sleep with all of the resonating sound of fireworks like that.
This new years I will be having with my mom, dad and brothers and play some games. We don't normally watch the ball drop because our internet is kinda bad so its new years before we see the ball drop sometimes lol.
Exactly what I'm doing right now ...reading posts on Bored Panda, making the occasional comment and listening to my cat purr and my wife snore. It'll be midnight in a few minutes.
I spent it with my family, we watched each other play videogames
Sorry it wouldn't let me finish, we also played card games and watched Bob's burgers. One of the best nights of my freaking life.
My wife and I watched the stream of Kiss's "KISS 2020 Goodbye!" show from Dubai.
My family had all gone to bed early, so it was just the cat and myself awake at midnight. Cat got scared when the fireworks started going off, so I made him a little blanket fort to hide in/muffle the sound while I sat on the floor talking to him. Living the partay lifestyle.
Spent a few hours at my parents place eating and watching tv.
New Year’s Eve is my moms birthday but this time it was also my great-aunt’s funeral. So we mourned and then celebrated and ate cake. It was a weird mix of emotions I wasn’t prepared to feel that day

Watching my boyfriend struggling with his Heroin withdrawal symptoms - just like I did last year on New Year's Eve and the year before... and probably will do the next few years. Awesome tradition...
Chilled with the neighbors and their new fur baby. We had nachos, played Mexican Train dominoes, and got way too drunk. I puked on my bathroom wall. It was a good night.
