What's a book that changed how you view the world? Maybe a book that changed the trajectory of your life.

What book would you recommend everyone reads once in their lifetime.

My favorites are "The 4 Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferriss and "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle.

1. Ordinary people- Judith Guest. My father passed away in high school. As I spiralled into depression my English teacher assigned this book in class. It helped me tremendously. Found out later that she assigned it for me.

2. Alcoholics Anonymous - the first 100. The principles of the 12 steps are a wonderful guiding force even if you aren't an alcoholic.

3. A view from the gutter - Timothy Leonard. (unpublished) my first novel I ever wrote. Pretty much garbage but proved to myself that I can write a book.
