I use to get up early and go with a friend to do Black Friday shopping (this was back when you had to actually go to the store LOL). I would have a list of things I saw advertised, items I was looking for, etc. and nothing for me. My friend would have a very short list and spend the rest of her time shopping for herself.

All blessings unto libraries! And books are just one of the multitude of things and opportunities they offer. Fabulous places, libraries!

Anything you have to actually go to the store and shop for there.

Anything at a home improvement store because it will be less crowded … since everyone will be crushing together in the department stores!

Anything you weren't planning to buy already. Impulse stuff is bad news. Deal on something you had to get anyway, good times.

Mine was a Black Friday special and it's trucking along fine at about five to six years old at least. I think it depends on what brand/electronics you're getting. Just do your research but not all of the ones sold for Black Friday are inherently bad.

Anything labeled 'Limited Quantity' I worked retail for years, and can tell you that anything with that label is going to have been thrown around, trampled, grabbed, strangled, and other sundry adjectives of bad behavior. Plus, usually you are only saving around $20-$40 dollars-which is not worth the hospital bills
