Something unique or unusual that you can't live without? Something you wish you had never spent money on?

Okay. I don't really have a "worst" because I overthink and look at reviews and prices, and all of that sort of thing. But if I had to choose... My scotch Brite sponge wand. I say this because I was scrubbing with it and the plastic snapped releasing all my good dawn. :(
My best purchase has got to be my Bluetooth headband. (Aka a sleep/sport headband) I have two because I got a second one as a replacement due to error in the stitching .(it came undone within the first three weeks. )

The best thing I ever bought was my Litter Robot. I have 2 cats and it works really well. Great customer service and I don't have to deal with changing litter anymore, really. It's expensive but pay for itself with how much less you have to change the litter.

Worst was the plethora of decor and furniture I bought throughout my 20s for my house. I bought so much. I could never afford really nice stuff so I'd go to tj maxx or Homegoods and get what I could. But in hindsight, I wish I'd saved my money up and gotten 1 really nice thing every few months when I could and it would have lasted and been what I really wanted.

The biggest lesson I've learned as an adult is to buy something quality once instead of crappier stuff over and over. Even though it's more expensive, you'll save money in the long-run.

Best: 2 pairs of quality headphones (a pair for gaming and a pair of Bluetooth ones for listening to Spotify on my phone). They both cost a good sum but I've been using them for several years now. I would normally have gone through several pairs of lower quality ones so I'm actually saving money already while enjoying top notch sound quality.

Worst: electric scooter. I jumped on the scooter bandwagon and bought it. Used it daily for 6 months. Now it's been tucked underneath my bed for 2 years because I went back to using my bicycle which is safer, healthier and more practical since I am not limited by the battery capacity.

Chocolate. I can never go wrong with a little bit of chocolate. And books, books never get old and once I buy them it’s just such a nice feeling knowing they’re there whenever I want to read them

4 years ago wife and I bought a 1920 bungalow that had been converted to apartments in the mid 40's. My grandmother live din one when I was a kid, I knew she didn't own it yet it was always grandmas house. My youngest said he'd like to live in it. So we looked at all it would need, made the decision to buy it and for $25k we obtained the house and the lots on either side which gave us a total of .81 acres. I now know why people don't buy old houses and fix them up. Banks won't even talk about a reno loan so we're footing the entire bill ourselves. I will say the building inspector has been great to work with and the Architectual Review Board (historical board) has been easy to work with since we've really not been interested in changing the exterior appearance. Could've built 2 houses for what we'll have in this one. And if my son and I weren't doing 90% of the work ourselves we'd be ruined financially on it. Never again.

My books are definitely the best. Most I keep and read over and over.

Worst Most of my clothes. I'm terrible at that stuff but after cancer, nothing fits the same

Best purchases: headphones designed for sleep, shower stool, e-reader

Worst purchases: cast-iron skillet, gimmicky little overpriced swamp coolers that are barely more than fans (I'm sure there are perfectly good swamp coolers out there. I was just taken in by marketing for cheap junk.)

Don't really have a worst but if i had to choose it was probably the charcoals that i bought a few years ago. They ended up being black Crayola chalk.
Best is definitely my pom-pom hedgehog though, hands down.

As a kid I used my birthday money to get a TV teddy. The advert made out that the toy would interact with any show you were watching. It did not. I thought I would get a buddy to watch turtles with and all what I got was this toy that only interacted with the videos you purchased for it and they were terrible the entire show just talked down to you as a kid. Used it once and then my mum took it back to the shop and got a refund.
