Hey Pandas, What Are Some Scary Urban Legends, Folk Tales Or Ghost Stories You Know Or Spooky Experiences You’ve Had?
Since we're approaching the spooky time of the year, and I love reading and hearing ghost stories, I wanted to hear what stories and folklore you grew up hearing, and if you ever encountered ghosts in real life

Near where I grew up there is a castle with an old portrait in the hallway that shows a beautiful lady. Or so it seems... If you hold this portrait up to the light, a horrible face appears. It is said that this lady roams the castle on foggy nights and if you are a good person you will see her beautiful face, but if you are a bad person she will show you the horrible one. (I don‘t consider myself a bad person but I don‘t know about her standards, so I wouldn‘t want to meet her.🙂)
Where I grew up, the common belief about ghosts is that they live on tree tops. If you happen to be carrying fish and/or sweets under the tree, they will steal it all. They are also likely to snap your neck. There are different types of ghosts too: ghosts of Brahmins (Priests), ghosts that eat any fish they can get, ghosts that live amongst bamboos, will o' wisps, and many more.
