Tell me about fandoms that are toxic, weird, or just some good ones with flaws.

Undertale is a good game but the fandom is majorly f***ed up
i love undertale but im still working on understanding the fandom. i will tell you guys when I get there lol. i think I'm almost done I just need to memorize a few more things lol
Animes. Lots of animes have weird fandoms. My friends constantly send me anime stuff through discord, while some of it makes sense, some of it doesn't. I've also seen some weird fanfics. I have tried being a fan of anime but I just can't, partially because of the fandom.
I could see that, being a huge fan of anime myself I take no offense to this. Some things and fandoms are just weird or very toxic.
I don't understand the hype K-Pop has gotten in the last to years or so. Like the extrem fangirling, shipping or being offended when someones says they don't like this certaintype of music.
I do enjoy listening to some kpop songs and admire some groups as well (Stray Kids, stay <3) but I don't hardcore STAN them. I know some fans out there can be so toxic and ruining the kpop image (I apologize on their idiotic behalfs). To answer your question, the "hype" is because of the unique aspect of the music industry (at least for me). It's much diff from the regular pop music like idk Dua Lipa. Kpop is extremely difficult to be successful in (not dissing on other music) you have to audition, then hope you get accepted by an agency (they look at your skills to see if you have something unique and if you have potential to get better), then you become a trainee and train to be a kpop idol for who knows how long until you get to debut, FINALLY you debut and you might not even get big. Just some small kpop group. It's the sad truth about kpop industry and thats why those that ARE popular are madly respected. And thats not even considering your looks, stage presence, dance skills, etc
Beastars. I'm part of the fandom and I don't even understand why I like it so much.
I will start off with a fandom that is mainly good except when it comes to ships. The BNHA/MHA fandom. Being part of this group I can tell you, it is not all just bad things but the ships have gotten out of control! From ships that just don't make sense because the characters have had one or no lines together, to downright scary or gross ones, like All Might x Deku. Some people even threaten the creator if their ship is not canon, which is really disturbing to me.

Ok I am going to respect your opinion but please respect mine too. May I ask what about furries you don't understand? Maybe I can help you understand some things because I myself am a furry

ok so i love fnaf (five nights at freddys) and the lore is amazing but the storyline is so confusing that to even half understand it you have to get all the games and all the books and try to go from there. trust me because I have done that. the books are amazing and the games are amazing too but if you try to understand the main story and all the bits and pieces its hard to understand it. i actually have my own theory about it but I don't really think that anyone wants to hear it.( the theory is about Michael and Chris any why it was said that the party was for Chris and Michael and why Michael did the prank)
Yeah, I played it when I was younger but I gave up after Sister Location. There is just too much for me.
The Nintendo fandom, the smash bros fandom more specifically.. Nintendo has done some scummy things, like current president Doug Bowser (yes he has the same last name as the main antagonist of the Mario franchise) saying that games having a purchase limit digitally “a celebration”

The skeleton clique. I’m part of it, but I’m mostly talking about the toxic clikkies. People act like Tyler and Josh are angels who can do no wrong and have no flaws whatsoever. Most of the comments on their Instagram posts that have nothing to do with the band are just stuff like “ILY TYLER” or “I LOVE YOU GUYS” etc etc. quite a few clikkies are also very very toxic, and will get mad at people for not crossing out the o’s in twenty one pilots (a very common way to spell it is twenty øne piløts). Most of these toxic clikkies also are the ones to muscle their way to the front of the pit and shove people who camped outside the stadium for WEEKS out of their rightful spots.
tøp’s whole mission is to help people and you can’t respect that? Every single person in that stadium has been through s**t and the toxic clikkies are ruining the rest of the clique’s experience in the fandom. Just respect each other, my dudes, it’s not that hard.
