Why does anyone have to be LGBTQ+ ? Doesn't the LGBTQ community preach acceptance of others for who they are? So why do they not accept others who don't agree with them? I'm not saying it's acceptable to discriminate against someone for their sexual orientation, but disagreeing with it is not the same as discriminated. People are entitled to like or dislike whoever they want for whatever reason. And FYI, I have several friends who are gay, and I have 3 family members who are also gay. I don't care who they sleep with. We all have the same views I just shared. If you want people to be all accepting, then lead by example.

That's weird on its own, and it's also going against everything else you said. But to answer that question, I'll quote you: 'people are entitled to like or dislike whoever they want for whatever reason.' if that wasn't a clear explanation, LGBTQ+ people identify as LGBTQ+ because they want to and feel like it represents them.
