Hello. I am curious to understand what being LGBTQ means. I have some questions and others might have some too. Those of you that are LGBTQ, can you please answer us in the comments? So here's my question: if there is a same-sex couple that wanted to get married, who would propose to the other person. Please also note that it is important to be respectful to our LGBTQ friends and we can learn about them.

k so it doesn't really matter who proposes in a same-sex couple. Hope this helped

we have no agenda. other than living a long and happy life with our spouse. also, we do not like being asked if we like you when we come out. JUST CAUSE WE"RE GAY DOESN"T MEAN WE LOVE EVERYONE OF OUR PREFFERED GENDER.

Also, it's very akward. Because if you say no, people assume you find them ugly. If you say that they are your type, they are scared that you have a crush on them. Please don't ask this question. It is soul crushing and very anxiety inducing, since every possible answer can be interpreted the wrong way.

Here's a fun question: Who/What helped you figure out you are LGBTQ+?
for me it's was Pidge from Voltron (Don't ask, I don't know myself)

Never refer to a trans person by their dead name, it's insensitive and rude.

As a proud pansexual, it does not really matter who proposes the same thing with boy and girl couples I know the boy proposing is "traditional" the girl can propose too. So no it does NOT MATTER.

I was also wondering that how do you change your body if you are trans? Because you can't exactly cut off some male/female body parts

Oh~ the modern medicine is pretty good with that - it's a long process, but it's possible. Firstly, both processes begins with taking the needed hormones. And then comes the surgeries. I mean taking off the breast is... yeah... not unkown (breastcancer often leads to the same). Forming a breast is just adding silicone. The surgery forming a vagina/penis are more difficult but possible. A penis, for example, is formed from the outer labia and the clitoris. Often additionally with skin from the forearm. // For a vagina, on the other hand, is formed from the skin of the penis, with the tip as a clitoris. // Both fall under the concept of "cosmetic surgery". (I hope, the comment won't be deleted for usage of direct wording to describe the human body x.X)

Lgbtq+ pandas;
Hoping someone could explain the various labels.
I've noticed sometimes a combination is used eg: "I'm a trans queer non binary" and I have no idea what it means.

I’m a little new to the lgbtq+ community but I think I might be able to answer this. There are many different sexualities and gender identities and I don’t know all of them, but I think often when different labels are used in combination, it’s to describe different things about a particular person. It could be both a different gender identity, along with sexuality. “I am non-binary, asexual and pan romantic” would be acceptable. The person is non binary, meaning they don’t identify with being male or female, they are asexual meaning they don’t feel sexual attraction, and they are pan romantic which means they still feel romantic attraction, and in that sense, gender doesn’t matter to them. I hope what I said is accurate.

OK. I understand you guys are a bit confused, but this question is getting out of control.

BISEXUALS AND PANSEXUALS AREN'T THE SAME.

Pansexuals like EVERYONE, nonbinary, female, male, genderqueer, etc.
Bisexuals like GIRLS AND BOYS.

ALSO, TO MOST GACHATUBERS, fetishizing the LGBTQ+ community is immature and gross. STOP.

1) Yes, they are different. 2) Pans care for the personality, so not sure if they like EVERYONE, but still, correct. 3) Isn't it GachaCringers?

So, one of my questions. If a woman changes and becomes a man, and marries a man, is it a gay marriage, or is it still considered straight since one of the men was originally a woman?

it is considered gay because the woman is now a man Which makes the man in the relationship gay

When you came out to a family member or close friend, what did they say or could they have said that was/would have been really positive and supportive?

Family: "you're sure?" / "what will you do if you want children?" (Adopt) / "you'll be my child - even if you come back with green dots and a tail." / "May I name you a 2nd time?" Friends: "ok. - where do you store the beer again?" / "... eh... ok... but you won't try to hit on me?!" The most supportive - what my mom & dad said. (Dots and tail / Name me a 2nd time) - all around, out of the family, the most supportive was the friend who just accepted it and asked for the beer ^_^"

I mean, i live with one of them, which sucks, but i just kind of half-heartedly "agree" with him whenever he says something homophobic, and then think about how rude he is later.

If someone is non-binary, and they like girls, and they were born female, are they lesbian?

They don't have too. Many things across the world are supported by many people and disliked by others ie: Religon, LGBTQ , Polotics etc. The key to having a peaceful world filled with kindness and love is acceptance. I come from a very religous family and I myself am religous and do not belive in same sex relationships however I am not one to judge. If my child came out as gay I would be understanding and treat them the same as my child. That may mean I dont agree with what they are doing. As long as your parents are kind and welcomeing to LGBTQ members it will be OK.
