The whole 'going back in time and killing Hitler' thing always seemed a bit silly to me.
Firstly you have the moral implication of killing a child/baby. No matter what that child is going to do when it's older, it is still an innocent child.
Even if you could get past that, you need to recognise everything that came out of the war. The world would be in a much worse state if we did not develop the technological advances that we did during the war. Everything would still be coal and oil operated, the city smog would never have disappeared and the economy of the USA would have collapsed.
There would be no nuclear power, no satellites, no antibiotics, no blood transfusions, no superglue, no instant coffee, no computers, The list is almost endless.
No, to truly make the world a better place, I would go back to before my dog died and introduce her to as many people as possible!
