I miss standing in a kitchen chair to be able to answer the phone. It was mounted to the wall. Then at Christmas I got a phone for my own room with speed dial buttons. Life was so simple then.
Arcades. I loved playing pinball. You were able to play pinball machines all over the city but nowadays they are all gone.
Novelty house phones! I had a car shaped phone for my room. Classic. Still have it!
I have a vintage house phone. It isn’t a novelty one tho. It’s a phone shaped phone that’s all 😂

Children playing outside! Life was so simple when u had to be home before the street lights came on.
The cars!!! I had an 86 chevette I could go everywhere for two weeks on less than $10 in gas!
Having to wait until Sunday to watch the new Simpsons episode at 6pm, I was 5, best part of my weekend :)
