I’m not going to try to defend it- if you don’t like it, that’s fine. But people *do* like it, and that’s their opinion. It might not be trash to somebody else- hey, maybe somebody else doesn’t like the stuff you do. There’s really no reason to get this upset over a video game you don’t like unless it insulted your family or something. (Which I doubt.)
