If it's your immediate family: get a place to live in, a job somewhere, and then break the news. That way you may control the outcome, and if they're really aggressive, just shut them out of your life. If you're underage, I'd suggest waiting.
If they're more distant, I don't know if you're "obliged" to tell them anything.
Tbh I would find a place for myself first and a nice steady job. Then tell them when you move out then ghost them
Depends, if you still live with them and have no where else you could live, wait until you do have somewhere else you could go, in case they kick you out. I'm sure they'll accept you though, even if they dont necessarily like it at first.
I know it seems tempting to tell them.
I really recommend you slowly ease into it. Take your time and find out for sure whether or not your family members are homophobic first.
