Hi! I'm currently struggling with my love life. I am a single female and enjoy being single. Here's the thing, I have had a crush on my male friend (who is either bi or gay, I'm not 100% sure) for about two years now. I respect and support his sexuality and life, just like the rest of my friends. I recently realized that what I am feeling may be more than a crush, and I want to stop it in its tracks. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me back and I don't feel like confessing my feelings anytime soon. Please share your suggestions so that I can either grow out of these feelings or learn to live with them!

I would try to just think about all his faults he has and use that to think that he is not the one.

Find a new person that you have a crush on so that you can move on from liking the friend.

From what I understand, the only way is to either, suffer heartbreak or wait until the 'magic' wears off.

I think the only way is to tell him how you feel, otherwise you'll start obsessing over it and it will remain unresolved for you. You deserve closure if it's not going to happen, so you can move on. But you have to do something about it, otherwise it will always be there. So yes, it sucks to put yourself out there to have your heart broken, but how else are you going to move on?
