I enjoy writing stories, but sometimes I don’t have any ideas. It’s my dream to someday put all my stories into a book. Any genre goes! Except maybe sex stuff. Anything else

Maybe one where someone bets sent to another dimension/world? Maybe some aliens or monsters involved?
Hmm, do you have any specifics? Like what type of dimension/ creatures
maybe cyber punk? That would be cool? And the creatures....maybe mishmash some earth creatures into unholy abominations or people idk
Load More Replies... So there are two siblings. They live a happy life in a middle class neighborhood. One day, their parents get into a car accident. The two siblings have to go to an orphanage where they are separated from each other. One goes to a rich family with a spoiled kid. The other one goes to a poor family that cherishes what they have.
(You can write whatever in this part)
One day somehow they are reunited. (I’m giving you lots of places to fill in so that it is more of your idea than mine. Don’t want like plagiarism or anything like that. Good luck on your stories!)
Thanks! I usually put like wayyyy too many plot twists, so I’d probably do the same for yours haha
There are a lot of very successful people who have used their dreams and nightmares as inspiration for their work. When you wake up and you recall what your dream was about, or some aspects of it, write it down in a journal.
My story would be about three teens that got into the woods and fins an abandoned mansion the littlest one is one of the other characters sisters so two teens and a 5 year old the. 5 year old has visions about the past. Witch is how they get to the house . Then in the house they find a mirror and the littlest walks into it then the others follow. Then there transported back in time. They find two twins ( teens) they have to put the mirror back together bc the twins mom Brock it when she found out peeps from the future came though it. The twins help them find the bits of mirror while the littlest has more visions of another life (they are from the mom) the mom trickes the. Littlest and when they finally have at the mirror bits the littlest go's missing they then have to go into the basement free her from the mom (she was trying to sacrifice the littlest) then take the twins with then through the mirror. Sorry for rambling sentences but that's my idea.
My idea is just my taste. I love fantasy or realistic fiction and always give me ships just MORE SHIPS So here's my idea, I am also using this, but it's a good idea Two traveling dragons, Deep Freeze and Scorch, (yes opposite genders scorch is girl) traveling together for years, eventually they fall in love and they have a hatchling named Smoke. Smoke wants to be a warrior and win a devastating war that could kill him, but his parents want to protect him and want him to live a traveler's life. So they have to protect Smoke. But there's a twist. Bc I need more ships, Smoke has also been secretly seeing a dragon named Mirror, and he knows his parents wouldn't like her, but he fel in love with her so it's an internal and external struggle and SHIPS
The hero(s) go to face the nightmare lord, lots of horrible monsters, and the nightmare lord is terrifying and also harmless, he is literally a nightmare. As soon as you touch him he is revealed not to exist I'm going to use this for a larp campaign.
A few days ago I met 2 friends after ~5 years. They are like day & night. One prim & proper and one full-time slouch. Both around 50 y/o. Both profs at an university (science & arts). I know they're pining for each other since at least 7 years. They go out together once a month for dinner and once a month to the theater or movies --- the only ones who don't know about the pining, are those two idiøts. It would be funny to show them a novel with some kind of lovestory/drama and tell them "these two... these are you". 'Night & day meet each other, both to thick/insecure to recognize they are meant to be. Everyone knows it and tries to get through them, but everytime there is something/-one crashes the meetings/datei' --- something toothcracking sweet & kitschy, or partners in crime, or random shortstories on interactions (they both have a habit to gather every living beeing in need of help)
By observing people on a bus, in restaurants, in parks, etc. Just by sitting, observing & talking to others you hear or see interesting stories. I work with the elderly and the stories I hear sometimes!!
Every wish, every dream, everything great comes at a cost. Wishinng for money means that money came from others - success means someone else's ends - you get the idea. Nothing is free. One person gets because others lose. It's all a balance. Now imagine you find the person who took your dream. How would you react? And go
How about a murder mystery? Maybe the ghost of the person who gets murdered possesses people to help the solve the mystery? Edit: stupid idea, sorry
story about an assasain or ex assasain whos being hunted by the fbi and has to escape the country but ends up trying to save a kid or something like that, pretty much a cross of John Wick and The Marksman
This is very late lol but here goes my story idea. Once upon a time in a countryside town in Bavaria, Germany there lived a a kind but lonely man who had a farm and a shop. He ran a local brewery/bakery and his store was frequented by locals. The town’s children loved him because he gave a caramel for kids to have and always put a smile on the faces of the townsfolk because he just asked about how their day was or just listening to people and making everyone’s day. Despite all the happiness he found providing to the local towns folk, he still felt lonely. Every time he lied in his bed in his house he would think about the life he had with his wife and raising his children. His wife had died 15 years earlier and his 3 kids moved away from Bavaria and were so busy they rarely visited their father. As the days grew, and as he did the same routine, he just grew sadder and sadder until he could not take it anymore.
It continues. He had tried to call his kids multiple times, but never answered their dad. They had their own lives. He had a doctors appointment because he had been feeling off lately and then he received some very bad news. He had a scan and the doctors saw he had a dangerous form of bone cancer. He had felt awful for 3 months and he had dismissed it initially but it got to a point where it was preventing him from running a business. He had gotten diagnosed with stage three cancer so the doctors had started doing the procedures for bone cancer(idk what that is). He called his kids the day he was diagnosed and let them know that they should see him because he may not be around long. His kids came home immediately. His kids helped him run the business. Five years later, the man eventually died due to bone cancer. His funeral was attended by the whole town because he made them all smile and he reached the lesson of kindness and humility. The end.
Load More Replies...I have a great idea. Take a short story. A simple one like a case of shooting in some historic site. And in each chapter show it from a different pov. You may include pov of victims' families, survivors, the detectives, traders and at last the pov of the criminals itself. It will be a crazy book for sure
Mabey something like a person who is shy and insecure, and the story is about there day dreams of being different people, like an actor, singer, artist
