Hi all, every time when I'm on instagram or facebook reels, there they are...

Posts about

-how to loose weight

-how to loose your turkey neck

-how to get the perfect figure

-how to not gain 10 kilo when hitting menopause

-how this and how to that

It really p*sses me off to see those stupid messages playing into peoples insecurities.

One video was about aging women and their turkeyneck... in the add one woman who supposedly used the serum told the potential buyers that a man had complmented her on her neck.... so I went to my SO and asked him what he looked at when seeing women in general. He answered, eyes, boobs, waist, ass.... when asking him about the neckline he started laughing and told me he actually never ever had paid attention to a neck, he couldn't care less ;p

I figured as much...

This video, and all the other videos about body-issues play on the insecureties of women and men.

Women can't be fit and toned enough and all men need to look like half a bodybuilder and have the stamina of a 26 year old.

They promiss things that can impossibly be a "one size fit's all" thing as there are so many external things that are of influence on a body.

Me, I'd love to get rid of my cellulite but guess what... my connective tissue is not as it should be, so it is what it is, I just accept that.

My weight, not perfect either but I love my body because with my medical beckground it could be much worse (plus my SO loves my ladycurves).

Point is, all those firms making other people feel bad about themselves and just play into their feelings about never being good enough and then start raking in their money...

Some even have a money back guarantee. knowing almost no one will contact them and tell them they did not reach the achieved goal, because they must have done something wrong or not tried hard enough...

So to all, please, don't buy into body-shaming commercials with the idea you're not good enough...

You are good enough just the way you are...
