My name is Davide and this is my "Pink Season" project that I started a few years ago and which has now reached a turning point that I wanted, but let's start from the beginning.
I started taking these pictures a few years ago inspired by Japan, in particular, the Japanese anime and the cherry blossom period that colors the whole country in pink.
So I tried to take pictures in my country, Italy, which reminded me of this beautiful time in Japan during the spring. I started coloring everything pink, just like during the Hanami period.
A few months ago, however, I went to Japan where I was finally able to take this type of photographs there too and I am very satisfied with it.
It's like a new season, in winter everything turns white, in autumn everything is orange, in spring the flowers start to bloom and you can see different colors, in summer everything turns green and in the "Pink Season" everything turns pink!
