Planning a marriage proposal can be stressful but also incredibly exciting! For the last 2 months I went back and forth trying to figure out the best way to pop the question to my love, Alicia. I thought being that I’m a time-lapse photographer, the best way to do that would be through stop-motion photography. So, I formulated a plan and shared it with my buddies. I asked 10 of them (all of which who are award winning photographers) if they would help out and they all said yes. Now I just needed Alicia to say yes.

After tricking Alicia into thinking that we were going out on a photo-date with friends we made our way to proposal spot (The Lincoln Memorial). She was stunned when I popped the question! You’ll have to watch the video to see how it all unfolded.

We shot more than 5,000 still photos to create this video and I picked the best ones that I think represented the story the best. It was an incredible day and she ended up saying yes!

Planning out this event wouldn’t have been possible without the help from photographers: John Harrington, Graeme Jennings, Allison Shelly, Molly Reily, Ken Cendeno, Kevin Deitsch, Garrett Hubbard, Johnny Bivera, Joe Eddins, and Alex Wong.
