Robin Williams was a wonderful man and I wish someone could have helped him the way he helped so many others.

My cats bring me dead mice and pigeons. Sometimes they bring fishbones they gather from neighbours :)

I was dubious of this one, but it turns out there is evidence of corgis existing as far back as 1107 AD

They have little white saddles on their backs and they galloped in the fairies` fights, carrying little wariors on their backs :)Awesome breed, I`ll be having a corgi in less than a few weeks!

Also -- corgis are working dogs. The first time I saw that corgis were listed as working breed rather than toy breed, I thought it was a typo. Then I saw Youtube video of them herding cattle. Which is what they were bred to do. Go search for it. It is every bit as impressive and adorable as you think it is, and you'll thank me.

Well even Vikings could appreciate nice warm laps , and feet, and hands. Small dogs can help with all of those. .... slightly off topic, many small dogs were breed to be small enough to be carried inside the sleeves of Oriental nobles ' clothes. For during the bitter snowy winters. I don't know the dates tho. sorry.

If I were a fairy, it would totally be my preferred method too. "On my noble steed!"

That sound funny because usually (in many legends) it's the FOXIES that are meant to do that. Maybe it's a misunderstanding, regarding how corgis' faces look like?

I can see why, they're absolutely adorable, their fur must be warm as all heck, and their running is hilarious

Scientific tests also showed that they stress out when separated. They believe that by reducing the stress they will raise their milk yield. But considering cows are herd animals, this isn't really surprising.

I wonder how they would know that? So in their world, while swimming past one another, one could be a Phil and another a Jack? It would be like "Hey Phil, I found a warm spot over here, check it out.

Many prisons in the US have a program that has select inmates train shelter dogs, some for specific tasks such as disability service dogs. Marked improvement in inmate behavior and outlook have been noted in these programs and, of course, it improves the lives of the dogs involved.

Greyhounds As Pets NSW have a similar program at a women's correctional facility here in Sydney. The inmates help prepare ex-racing greys for life as a pet, teaching them things like how to go up & down stairs, basic obedience, etc. It's great for the dogs, as well as the inmates who can even earn a government-recognised certificate. (Our foster grey participated in this!) :)
