My cats bring me dead mice and pigeons. Sometimes they bring fishbones they gather from neighbours :)

Scientific tests also showed that they stress out when separated. They believe that by reducing the stress they will raise their milk yield. But considering cows are herd animals, this isn't really surprising.

Killer whales probably target the baby humpback whales, so it's not weird if humpback doesn't like them. It's just my thought though

They are like Giraffes. Giraffes aren't really combat-ready, but when they see a potentional threat they warn the other nearby grass eaters that it's time to move.

Orcas do target Humpback whale babies, so it is probably linked to natural instincts. They have been documented protecting other animals, including humans, from sharks, as well. Bottom line, it doesn't matter why, we should be grateful, and maybe try a bit harder not to completely destroy their home, and maybe condemn/boycott those countries that still allow whaling...like Iceland, and Japan...

It started as a feud, but it happened so long ago that nobody can quite remember what started it. Spare a thought for the female killer whale and the male humpback that just want to be together...

I know. It's because a dog works hard to gain attention, while a cat doesn't even need trying. ^_-

I wonder how they would know that? So in their world, while swimming past one another, one could be a Phil and another a Jack? It would be like "Hey Phil, I found a warm spot over here, check it out.

Many prisons in the US have a program that has select inmates train shelter dogs, some for specific tasks such as disability service dogs. Marked improvement in inmate behavior and outlook have been noted in these programs and, of course, it improves the lives of the dogs involved.

Greyhounds As Pets NSW have a similar program at a women's correctional facility here in Sydney. The inmates help prepare ex-racing greys for life as a pet, teaching them things like how to go up & down stairs, basic obedience, etc. It's great for the dogs, as well as the inmates who can even earn a government-recognised certificate. (Our foster grey participated in this!) :)
