Many people feel that their hair is not only a feature of their appearance but a part of their personality too. So many people dye it in bright colors to express themselves as individuals and they choose haircuts that fit into their lifestyles. For whatever weird reason, humans evolved to have a greater amount and thicker hair on our heads and we consider luscious locks to be attractive.

But then those people who are less lucky with their hair on their heads feel like they're lacking something. There are also diseases which cause hair loss and in addition to feeling bad because of health issues, some people have to deal with not looking their best. Fortunately, modern medicine can help with that and today we will be presenting some incredible success stories people shared on the subreddit r/tressless.

More info: Reddit

The subreddit was created more than 10 years ago and over 90k members joined during this time. Tressless is described as “Reddit's most popular community for males and females coping with hair loss and balding” and “Reddit's hair loss community for sufferers of alopecia and balding.

It is dedicated to discussing “hair loss remedies, technologies, transplants, living with hair loss, cosmetic concealments, whether to "take the plunge" and shave your head, and how your treatment progress or shaved head or hairstyle looks.”

Both men and women want to have thick and healthy hair. It’s natural to seek alternative ways to achieve the goal if they are not gifted with it naturally. That is why hair supplements are so popular and there are so many to choose from.

Men are more likely to go bald as they are more prone to a condition known as androgenic alopecia. It’s a condition that is inherited through genetics and it is what causes the receding hairline and the hair loss at the crown.

Even though it is very common among men, especially in older age to lose hair, it does take a toll on their confidence. That is why the subreddit is mostly men sharing their hair regrowth journeys. Most of them not only share the success stories, but also reveal what kind of treatment they went through to get the results.

A lot of them shared that they are using medication like Minoxidil which is a solution that helps with hair growth and is known to be successful for male baldness, although it works for women too. It can have some side effects, so it is always better to consult a professional before using it, despite it being sold without a prescription.

Most of the people indicated that they use more than one product to deal with their hair loss. Like Finasteride, Nizoral and various vitamins. They also mention that they try to not use harsh shampoos and don’t use heat. Some of them even went as far as having a hair transplantation.

It can be very useful for others to know what products worked and gave the best results, but their methods were not just simply taking vitamins and involved more serious medications. So it’s always best to consult a family doctor or a trichologist, who is a specialist focusing on hair and scalp, to get the best results and not do more harm than good.

Quite obviously a hair transplant like the middle is literally thinner wouldnt make sense with natural regrowth
