Stop Standing Up When The Plane Lands
I'm 6ft6. I will stand up at the earliest possible moment (when the seatbelts light goes out) so I can unfold my legs. On longer flights, I even prefer to stand during the flight.

Standing and rushing the door are completely different things. I don't like being treated like a sardine, but cross country travel via any means other than flight takes toooooo long. So I fly sometimes. And I get up from that horrible seat at every opportunity. Don't worry, I stay in my spot and wait my turn like a civilized human.
I stand up because my legs and back hurt, those seats are terribly uncomfortable, especially if you are taller. Sorry, it's not to rush out, it's for pain to stop. Hate me if you want!
Hinchess: Some people who stand in the aisle don't want to let the rest of us get out luggage and get out. Leaving in order makes the most sense and luckily most people do that.

So now suddenly all the plane seats are horribly uncomfortable and you really HAVE to get up as soon as the plain touches the ground? Come on... You can take it for a couple of hours but extra 5 minutes would kill you?. I always wait and sit to avoid being squeezed and pushed by crazy people who just have to get off first like their lives depend on it. Sometimes when I'm in the middle seat the window person just pushes through and jumps over me to be first o_O It's just silly...
Re. #1: Sorry, but I don’t go along with this stupidity. I’ve been flying since propeller-and-tailwheel days, and it’s always the same on arrival. Those passengers who are ready to leave stand up. carry-ons in hand. and are ready to leave as soon as the door is opened. If they were allowed to leave the plane would empty very quickly—and they can’t leave. As soon as the gong sounds (indicating ‘door open’), all of the blockheads who have been sitting there twiddling their thumbs suddenly stand up and clutter the aisle, dragging out their stuff from the overhead been, and generally getting in each others’ and everyone else’s way. And—like the fellow who posted this photo—they’re very self-righteous about it. They’re absolutely insistent on the privilege of blockading the aisles. Given the number of flights per day around the world, this is probably the outstanding and most widespread example of Herd Moronics.

My first plane ride this year and I was like what the hell? Like don't they have a rule to sit and the stewardess will exit you from front to back? I just sat and waited.

I understand when tall people do it, cause your legs are squished (I'm not talk by my legs are too long for the seat and get squished anyway XD) But why does everybody have to stand as soon as the seatbelt light goes off? I stand on the spot and don't move to the isle, cause I wait for anyone around me that probably need to get off first (again, tall people. Or taller people. And people with kids. The kids would be getting bored and will start getting restless)
All the premature standers do is congest the aisle. Surely most people can wait a few minutes to get off the plane. I have begun waiting till there are very few people left to get out of my seat. It's way less stressful that standing for a long time in a very crowded aisle.
I get the stand up and stretch...and...the hurry up and wait is challenging, particularly when flights are delayed and some have tight connections while others are at their final destination.

How about a tiered approach? Tier 1: You got your carry-on in hand and are ready to leave at will - stand up and be ready to leave Tier 2: You have to get your carry-on from the bin but you're in an actual hurry (due to transfer or smth) - wait for Tier 1 and be ready to stand up and grab your stuff Tier 3: Nowhere to hurry, can easily wait and enjoy every second of traveling by plane - you know what to do
Amazing how many people can't even read the message on the sign to the end. It clearly says "...WHEN THE PLANE LANDS." Not when plane is in the air and they turn off the fasten seatbelt sign. Sure, I need to stretch a number of times on longer flights (often 12 hours or more). But when it lands and is taxiing to the gate, fergodsakes stop jumping up like hyperactive schoolchildren who then needed to be scolded for misbehaving. Allow the plane to get to the gate and exit in an orderly fashion. It's not that difficult people.
