I'd much prefer it be made permanent. I have depression and the shift back to early dark in the evenings contributes to that. I know there are pros and cons to both sides, but I'd vote to keep it all year long.

The Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico (major tourism destination) did away with it three years ago..love having longer days ALL THE TIME....US, get rid of it.
