Demand dictates supply in certain things. If people weren't shopping that early for x-mas items, they wouldn't be available. Don't protest the store, protest the consumers. I saw x-mas trees, lights and decorations on people's houses when I was driving home on Thanksgiving. There are people who are done with their x-mas shopping by Labor Day. Stores would be stupid to ignore these shoppers, it's simply a matter of good business to have these items for sale when people are out looking to buy them.
So what? It takes me a LONG time to decorate for Christmas and I like to enjoy it for a while before having to take it back down. SO, I start working on my biggest tree before Halloween. Not to say I don't observe Halloween, but inside MY HOUSE, since it IS MY HOUSE, I can and I DO start decorating early so I can enjoy the decor for several weeks. Too bad about Halloween being at the end of October and Thanksgiving only being 3-4 weeks before Christmas. I say if this guy's biggest issue is stores decorating early, he should be thankful and get a life.
