Guy ‘Gets To The 5th Dimension’ After Accidentally Drinking Incredibly Strong Espresso

Probably most of us know the feeling of adrenaline rushing into your veins after you gulp your morning cup of coffee a bit too fast. That exciting tingling around the chest lets you know it hit you just right… Or is it like this just for coffee addicts? Despite how it actually is, this guy definitely knows the feeling better than most of us after this accident. Some time ago, he accepted a cuppa from a coworker, saying he sure wasn’t one to wave off a free cup of coffee. Little did he know then what he’d gotten himself into. Scroll down to read the whole story!

This guy shared the story of how he got to smell colors after drinking the equivalent of 12 cups of American coffee

And people sure had a lot to say about it

But american coffee is like... lightly coffee flavoured water. Tried a latte once in NYC, drank cocoa the rest of my stay there

With 12 cups of American coffee al you need to worry about is to have a bathroom close by? It's like making love in a canoe.

I have to take caffeine tables sometimes for medical reasons. They contain 200mg of caffeine, which is probably about what this guy drank. The f****d up thing is I can sleep after that tablet.

I use unhealthy amounts of caffeine tablets and energy drinks nearly every day but I still can sleep without any problems. Many people wonder how that is possible because if they drink a can of energy drink they will stay awake several hours. I can drink a can of energy drink just before going to sleep. :)

Oh my God, I am laughing so much. We Portuguese have this kind of coffee, 2 to 3 times a day, some people 5 or more.

I just experienced an over dose on caffeine by accident. It was horrifying. I don't drink much caffeine. Very rarely and I accidentally drank a supplement drink that had 189mg and it ruined my entire day and set me into full a panic attack. Almost went to the hospital. I still am anxious and it's been 5 days.

Some people seem to handle caffeine and others have bodies that just don't agree with it. I'm sorry you had such a yuck experience

I honestly wish I could experience caffeine. Like, my entire life I've always wondered what it's like to go from 0 to 100 real quick because of caffeine, but since I'm always in the 90-100 range (the joys of ADHD), and caffeine is a stimulant I've never really experienced that :(

I know how you feel. I have ADHD as well. I love when people tell me I "don't need the coffee" because of my ADHD Meanwhile I'm like, um get your s**t straight, it actually focuses us and is very helpful for the ADHD. Apparently everyone is an instant doctor in disabilities that do not affect them lol

I agree to the comment about him writing software in that state; we could've had a sentient AI by now!

So....this is actually dangerous. There is such a thing as "Caffeine Psychosis" and you can read about it here https://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-06-21/high-caffeine-use-linked-to-psychotic-symptoms/2766144 and here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19407709 and here https://www.mdedge.com/psychiatry/article/46292/bipolar-disorder/caffeine-linked-psychosis-case-series . You can even have an allergic reaction to caffeine as reported here - https://hippocratesinst.org/mental-illness-or-caffeine-allergy
