62 Nasty Grandmas Who Can’t Believe They Still Have To March For Women’s Rights
The 2017 Women's March was revolutionary thanks to women of all ages, including these badass grannies.
An estimated 2.9 million protesters took to streets around the world on Saturday, and a lot of grandmas felt it was their duty stand in solidarity with the crowd. They knit hats, made hilarious signs ("This grandma grabs back!"), and raised their middle fingers in the air, sending a clear message to anyone who tries to take their rights away. The events were strikingly similar to the Woman Suffrage Parade in 1913, which would have been recent history for some of these grandmas in their youth.
We previously wrote about the best signs from various Women's Marches around the world, and now we've got even more, brought to you by a few 'nasty' grannies Donald should definitely be afraid of.

so your proving trump is not sexist with that sign, if trump was this terrible sexist ogre, why would he hire a woman to help build HIS building?
I've always thought genital-based insults were so bizarre considering how much we like genitals as a whole.
Those of you responding with disrespect do not understand the scope of the marches. This was a worldwide march of women's voices about their experiences relative to current political issues.
The wives of prezidenta make even better prezidents because they helpend them before and already knows how to do s**t ..
History is a spiral of recurring personalities and events. You are so right! We live long enough to bear witness!
Shut the f**k up, Val. The Republicans started the war on drugs and attacked the wrong place in the Middle East among other things - do we need to list all of the various parties shortcomings throughout history? What's next: "the democrats were the ones who didn't want to end slavery!"? Yes, but that party isn't remotely similar to the current democrats, so it doesn't matter when people are protesting the opposite side NOW!
Trump calls his lies about things "alternative facts", or at least his highly skilled people that he surrounds himself with
Coat hangers...wow, that's taking it back. For those of you who don't know... google it. It's what women used to do (among other things) before the medical field caught up. Often harming themselves in the process.
Salute!!! I am so proud and happy with women fighting for their fundamental rights! But it's sad too when the government neglects it.
Genuinely curious, Is there a reason so many of the hats people are wearing have the 2 points at the top or is this just a new fashion thing I wasn't aware of?
They are called pussy hats, its a jab at the current US president
Load More Replies...I wish I could protest for you guys, but I am from Australia. ( T _ T ) full respect for you guys fighting for yourselves!
There are some horrific comments down here.why, whenever there is a post about feminism,do people get so angry?we're not trying to take anything from you!and yes,at the moment women in many countries DO have a good level of equality (though arguably not complete equality.mick and lee-how many books written by a woman, about a female protagonist, have you read?and how many books, written by a man, about a male protagonist,do you think I have read?).what they're protesting is that trump's administration want to take AWAY these rights.why should protesting this make you so angry?!
Why protesting now, what about when Obama was president? some of the signs said things like "My arms are tired of holding this sign since the sixties" so my question is why protest now what about all the other president since then why Trump all of a sudden. And I hope you don't just down vote me because you disagree with what I said. I would be happy to have a rational and intelligent conversation with about my post.
Like what dogqueen said, even if Obama didn't do his damnest to defend all rights all the time, he still never said disparaged anyone on baseless prejudices like Trump's people have.
Load More Replies..."A rape happened" has nothing to do with the government and human rights. You don't march every time there's a crime. Regardless, this isn't a contest of suffering, like "How DARE you complain about human rights when a woman got raped!? She's way sadder than you!" This whole comment just ... does not follow, we are missing crucial logical steps.
