This Grandma Passionate About Crochet Dedicates Handmade Blankets To Retrogaming And Even In Summer, You Will Want One Of These
Janice, who uses the name of Grandma8bit on Etsy, lives in Maine, United States. She opened her online store to sell her creations dedicated to retro gaming. Fully crocheted, its covers include famous scenes from some classic vintage consoles. It is a tribute to the ‘yesteryear’ games such as Galaxian, Mario Bros and Donkey Kong!
The works of Grandma8bit are offered for one hundred euros, a small price considering all the hours this grandma puts into her blankets. According to Grandma, these blankets would be “perfect for winter nights on the couch while playing video games. You can also use it as a baby blanket or as a decoration. We firmly believe that even in months of summer you will find yourself reaching for one of these.

Yay! I always thought how crocheted graphics always looked like 8 bit games. I'm glad someone actually made it.
Ooh! I think I will make one with Guybrush Threepwood! In the design from MI2. Or maybe LeChuck... That would be cool.
I played a lot of these. * cough* I can not crochet, but these look great, and so warm! Almost inspired to learn how to crochet. Would it be wrong of me to try to make some of these ?
These all remind me of those films wreck it wralph 1 and 2, and pixels, staring Adam Sandler. This. Is. FROGging super. Well done grams!! :-0 :-D
