Day 5 of isolation and they have almost completed their Big Branch Band.
This is not a recent photo. Street view takes photos every few years. Google street view DID NOT go traveling through Poland during a pandemic quarantine. Really pretty sad how many people reading this post think these are recent pics.
He is just very drunk and the dog doesn't care. He's not homeless for sure. I'd be sorry for his wife who most probably works hard somewhere to take care of the whole house/farm... Typical of Polish village.
Load More Replies...ok, I don't want to break your image of the world, but with this one I had some good laughs. Welcome to Slav country my dear fellow Americans, this man isn't homeless, he has home, most probably wife, fields and cows/pigs. He is really drunk, felt asleep on the way back from store, where he got his vodka. Dog is good boy, stays by his side :D
The problem with some people is that they are unable to accept that you just can't compare the US with European countries one on one. They have different associations with pictures.

As a polish person I can tell you that there is nothing heartbreaking here, just regular summer Saturday morning in rural parts of Poland. Village drunks do that often. The heartbreaking part is the wife/children.
No. No one's crying because it's Poland and the guy isn't unhappy or homeless just drunk and sleeping it off, hoping he'll be sober enough to face his wife when he gets home.
Load More Replies...Considering that Google has Street View of Antarctica and Mars, this isn't that surprising.
Who doesn't like a wheelchair challenge? 1 in 5 chance of making it down the ramp.

You showed the worst of our country, I think. The poorest rural areas and people with issues. I agree this is a valid part of Poland, but please, don't make people believe we are a third world country.
Hopefully most people won't think that but just think it's one small aspect of a country - we all have our poorer and scruffier parts.
Load More Replies...You really brought out a down to earth charm. I'm interested in visiting sometime! It seems like many lovely places to just go for a walk.
These are excellent photos but the fact is that Google doesn't reshoot the street views often enough for these to be since the lockdown.
The photos are obviously taken during summer time! People are summer-dressed, trees are all green. This can not be March in Poland!
these phots are not done during the virus outbreak. This a collection of random pics from anywhere of Poland done late spring or even summer time. check the details people and start thinking!! virus outbreak come to europe during late winter 2020 , now the spring is about to start....check the details of phots....yep, nice try to get some attention,
im more then sure, that all of those pics are not done during the virus outbreak time, but this is a random collection of author pics. check the details, everything started in Poland late winter time....photos are in majority late spring or even summer. so she just added some randoms to get some attention. c**p.
Some of these pictures are just sad...to see people living in such poverty. But others show kind friendships.
It's not necessary poverty. It's old buildings, small towns/villages without a lot going on. Blocks of flats built in the 70's or 80's, guy with a cow - it's there, but it's not everything that there is in Poland. Shame there are no pictures showing modern cities and all the pretty places in Poland.
