Gold Digging Dog Pretends To Be A Stray In Order To Get Burgers, So Her Owner Decides To Confront Her
Betsy Reyes, of Oklahoma City, might have been wondering why her beloved pooch Princess had been gaining weight just lately. Same diet, same exercise, but she was looking proper chunky for some reason. Then, Betsy noticed that Princess was sneaking out at night. What was she up to?
Betsy decided to investigate. She caught Princess strategically placed down at the local Mcdonald’s drive-thru, looking beseechingly at the cars cruising past with their fresh burgers smelling oh so good. Acting every bit the abandoned, down-on-her-luck stray in search of a meal, she had it all figured out. And people were falling for it! Betsy witnessed at least one sympathetic soul throwing a tasty, fatty morsel Princess’ way, and decided that enough was enough. Driving up to the drive-thru herself, Betsy rolled down the window to reveal who was behind the wheel. Busted! Princess quickly realized the gig was up, and with a wag of the tail meekly headed home for a scolding.
Betsy filmed the whole episode and uploaded it to Facebook, where it quickly went viral. Scroll down to check out the hilarious video for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Share on FacebookPut a collar on her and make sure she can't get out at night. That isn't safe or fair to the dog. You might love her but you aren't being a responsible owner.
My thoughts exactly. She can so easily be run over. Won't be so funny then
Load More Replies...I'd be more concerned with my dog, breaking out of the house, walking around at night, taking food from strangers, not wearing a collar. Then trying to get a little fame through it. They could put poison in the food, people could take the dog, the dog could get run over.
I hated this whole post. The fact that she doesn't care that her dog leaves the house, the way she talks about the dog- the way she is trying to get attention. Yuk! get off the internet!
Particularly the pouty made-up photo of the owner - with a flower - what did that have to do with anything other than "look at me"
Load More Replies...My neighbor was walking her dog a few weeks ago and a fellow neighborhood dog (who is ALWAYS out of their yard/home) attacked her dog and pretty much ripped it to pieces. It was awful..awful...awful. The dog actually looks similar to the one in this post. It has rushed me countless times under my carport when I step outside. It's collar has no address or phone number just it's name. All we know is it lives somewhere in a two block radius of our homes. It's not funny to let your pets roam free, no matter how well behaved you think they are!! It's not fair to the community or to the dog.
"She recognized me"? WTF does that even mean? Is she not supposed to? If you don't care that she roams the streets at night no wonder. Attention seeker.
every owned dog needs a collar with contact details, otherwise the worst WILL happen, either hit by a car or just lost or taken in by a kindly stranger who thinks it is a stray. If you own a dog you are responsible for it's life. It isnt funny to allow it out on its own at night to beg for food from cars
Load More Replies...Who let the dog(s) out? Who, who, who, who, who? 🎶 Ahem. Sorry. You're right of course. It's very irresponsible and potentially dangerous for the dog and everyone the dog comes in contact with while he's free roaming.

She could easily get picked up as a stray due to no collar. Hope she is microchipped at least. But she should not be able to wander the streets at will.
How is the dog getting out of the house at night? Does she leave her doors wide open? Dog is too big to have a doggy door. Seems more like she trained the dog to beg for food so she could get her 15 minutes of social media fame. And needs to learn to type in reasonable English.
I was horrified when my dogs managed to let themselves out by finding the garage remote and chewing it til the garage door opened. Luckily it was a quiet street and the neighbour managed to get them back inside. Not funny when a dog is out on its own

I love you, Bored Panda, but posts like this just encourage this sort of irresponsible pet owners who want attention to the detriment of the pet. I think you should take it down. It's not worth it. Kind of like that tree falling in the woods, if no one notices your lame grab at attention, will you go away?
I bet Princess can speak better than her owner seems to be able to....
Getto girl, do the dog a favor and give it to someone who will properly take care of it. You are a horrible pet owner. Do yourself a favor and learn to speak and write properly also, after the first sentence I knew the class of person you are.
Can't believe this terrible dog owner didn't get any negative comments on Instagram/Facebook/wherever the original post and those comments up there came from. I'm with everyone else here--as a dog lover and owner myself, I'd be devastated to find my doggo running the streets at night and strangers feeding her. That's why she's chipped, collared, licensed, the whole bit, and NEVER out of the house unsupervised. Everything about this is just wrong.
Ok so I live here in Oklahoma City and I know the area she lives in and to tell you the truth it is a run down area and she needs to take control of her dog or now that this is made public maybe OKC animal welfare will keep an eye open and on her and her dog and if they see this dog again they should give her a hefty fine and take the dog away from her. I agree on her english skills and needs to learn proper english or at least spell. That area is know for their dogs roaming around. People just don't care if they did we would bot be reading this article here or on mailonline.com
I mean, how observant is this person that her dog leaves the house every night and she just realized it?? Take your dog for a walk and pay attention.
The dog requires a license, people should also require a license to own a dog or cat, it should be law that people need to pass a test to show that they are somewhat capable to look after a pet, besides knowing they need to be fed, common sense a must !!!
"Breaking out" at night. How does this happen? Does she leave the windows or doors open? Does she keep her in the yard and she's slipping off a leash? All of this stinks. I'd be terrified if my dogs got loose, could get hit by a car, dognapped or just plain lost. what the hell kind of a pet owner is this? A really really bad one. I don't like how she talks about the dog either. THIS ISN'T CUTE. It's highly irresponsible and she shouldn't have a dog.
Many years ago I lived on an island in Holland with my two dogs. One of them, Heriot, an adorable little fuzzy mutt, would disappear every afternoon around 2pm. One day she disappeared and I just couldn't find her. But it was an island, so I was pretty sure she's show up. One afternoon as we were taking my other dog for a walk along the dike, the dog a couple had been walking suddenly broke free and ran up to me. Yes, it was Heriot. The couple seemed to be relieved, because they said: Oh, so THAT'S your little dog. Naturally I asked how they knew her. Well, they replied, we own a restaurant, and every day around 2:30 pm she comes into our restaurant and eats all the fallen french fries on the floor...
She wouldn’t do this, if you looked after her properly. If she’s hit by one of those cars, that would be your fault.
What a strange way this lady speaks. What’s all this ‘she be like’ and use of ‘a*s’ all the time. Ghastly way to talk. Very odd story as I don’t know anyone who allows their dog to ‘sneak’ out the house. Most people lock their doors at night. It’s probably entirely made up.
The way this woman is talking about the situation "quit feeding her fat a*s" etc is disgusting. At least people care. Try keeping an eye on her. The poor dog is bred as well ,you can tell .. not a responsible guardian in any way. I hope she is loved.
It’s simple just get your dog make sure she doesn’t get out, and have her microchiped and with a collar. Not that hard.
I don't understand...do you just let her out to run the streets unsupervised??
