No one bothered to stop and help this stray cat who spent its miserable days living on the streets of Istanbul. People were just too frightened to even look at the cat’s facial deformities as it was ‘too ugly’ – until one brave and kind 7-year-old girl showed up and changed the ugly cat’s life forever…
The girl found the abandoned animal between garbage cans – starved, malnourished, in desperate need of some love. She took the tiny kitten home and begged her father to do everything to save the unfortunate feline. The disfigured cat was immediately taken to the vets who gave her proper medicine and even surgically repaired the roughest of features.
Now the cat not only looks different, but she also has a different life. People named the kitty Gülümser, which means “she who always smiles.” If this story didn’t restore your faith in humanity, we don’t know what would!

Now this is a story I love to hear about, although I hate to read the horrible life it had before, animals don't hold onto the past in their memories, they live in the now, which means she knows nothing but love!!

It's great that this little cat got the medical attention that it needed, but why the cosmetic surgery? That cat isn't self-conscious about its looks. I don't see the purpose of inflicting painful surgery on an animal for the sake of aesthetics.

The poor cat! It's amazing that the child had more pity than any of the adults. Put in this situation I'm ashamed to say I would have been pretty scared. Incredibly the kitten is alive and looks like a healthy cat. The missing ear actually adds to her personality:)

That poor injured cat sat for four weeks, being watched but never helped, because it was a monster - before that incredible child came to her rescue. The "after" pictures shows what unconditional love and lots of TLC can accomplish 💗 I hope that sweet child has a great life.

So um... This stray cat keeps showing up at the back door of my house. We feed him whenever he drops by, and gave him a few blankets to stay warm, but he's choosing fights with the neighbor's dogs and shows up every day with more cuts. He won't let people near him, and he hisses when we try to pet him. He needs the vet but we can't get him into a carrier or anything else to take him here. I am the kid in the situation, does anyone have an idea?
I love thus story because I would have done the same thing and not just because of this story I said this I love cats currently I have 4 cats although I would help it get better I would not keep my mom wouldn't let me nor my dar
