Bugs aren’t usually the cutest creatures for most people and even a thought about touching them creeps them out. It doesn’t apply to Adrian Kozakiewicz though, who is one of the largest insect breeders in Europe and works with various insects from all around the world.
He has recently introduced this giant snail to his followers and everyone’s going crazy about it. Apparently, it’s called archachatina marginata, and, according to Adrian, it’s the biggest snail you’ll ever see. Its common name is West African snail and it can grow up to 20cm long and live up to 10 years. Maybe a great alternative to a small cat since it’s pretty much the same size, don’t you think?

Having gotten slug slime on my fingers and finding that it is not easy to wash off, I wonder if it's the same case with these giant snails.
It's a giant pest, and not something anybody in his/her right mind should keep. Just google it. "Giant African snails cause extensive damage to plants in tropical and subtropical agricultural systems as well as the environment. These snails are also known to carry organisms that can cause diseases in humans. These organisms can be transferred by handling live snails and allowing their mucus to contact human mucous" membranes such as those in the eyes, nose, and mouth.
This guy owns and breeds MANY insects and other creepy crawlies like these giant snails. He's highly known for these things. Im sure he knows what he's doing and I'm sure he's not about to just let one of things out in the wild to destroy plants and the environment. He's a professional and you are not, therefore, leave it to the professionals. He knows what he's doing.

This guy doesn't just breed. He goes to different countries, catches bugs, breeds them, and then sells them for money. He shouldn't have his own post.
